I love super mario bro 2. I have the coin rush fever. This is a wonderful to keep in hand when waiting for someone, on public transportation or at home. This is a lot better than the games on smart phones.

Our son got this for Christmas & he loves it. He said he loves how the images are so vivid. He also likes that he can play both 3ds and regular ds games on it. He said he will not be going back to his old DSi XL because this one is "so cool".

Upgrading from a Nintendo DS to the Nintendo 3 DS XL was a wonderful experience. My daughter plays games for hours and hours. She loves the streaming videos and the interactive features. The built in browser is also handy for surfing the web.

My son was ecstatic when he got this for Christmas. He loves everything about it. It connects to WIFI easily and keeps this guy busy busy with Animal Crossing New Leaf. We also received a $10 Nintendo gift card to purchase apps etc.

The 3DS XL is an awesome handheld! It has a huge library of games that look awesome on the larger screens and it has better battery life!

I like it because it does not weight a lot, the battery life is good, the screen is great you can see every detail that you miss in the 3ds.

Wanted to upgrade granddaughter's DS - this filled the bill! She doesn't care for 3D feature but that's fine, just turn it off. Ordering online from Best Buy was easy, fast and good price!

We gave this to our daughters on her 7th birthday and she really loved it. She enjoyed to play Wipeout, Mama's kitchen and Mario Sonic London Olympics, Screen size is perfect for her and she enjoyed 3D graphics without having any glasses on, Good product Nintendo.

I love my Nintendo DS XL. It is so portable and I can play my favorite games everywhere I go! The blue color is amazing to look at and I have gotten so many compliments on it. The screen is very clear and not easily scratched (I am very particular about my electronics and I never have to worry about the stylus scratching the screen). Overall, I would highly recommend this system to someone who loves to play games both at home and anywhere else!

The slick redesign of the 3DS is pure aesthetic. I love the Mac finish of the front and back cover, and the feel is awesome. I like the controls, they are smooth and perfect. I also like where the stylus is located, right next to your hand for easy access while playing games. Outstanding game library from Professor Layton, Mario Kart, Mario, Shin Megami Tensei, and Zero Escape. I would recommend this console to any portable gamers. 5 stars!

The screen size is excellent. Good graphics. Variety of games is amazing. Fun for the whole family.

I bought this system simply to play on the go. When I first unboxed it i was amazed to see how large it was. The button layout is amazing. There may be only one analog stick but its no big deal. The touch screen is great and the screen is huge!!! The games is awesome such as pokemon, smash and legend of zelda. The one drawback is actually the size. After playing for an hour my hand started to cramp. I simply put it down for a bit then came back. Once you can get past that the system is great

A great product and I'm sure if you are reading this you've see all the positive reviews. The only thing I'll add is that a consumer should be aware a newer and faster model of this is already available in Japan. As of the date I write this (1/2/14) it may be a good idea to wait until the newer model is released in the USA.

The 3D screen looks awesome. I love how you are able to use two screens during the game. Nothing beats the great Nintendo software. Nintendo characters are the best!

After owning several handheld gaming systems (Gameboy color, NeoGeo Pocket Color, DSi XL) I decided to get the 3DS XL. The more advanced game graphics, access to Netflix, and backwards compatibility with DSi games made purchasing the 3DS XL a no brainer when it finally launched. I looked for bundles in the hope of getting a new game along with the device, but during the holiday season, all of the bundles were far pricier than the standalone unit at Best Buy. In the end I bought the standalone blue unit, and got Mario Kart 7 (wonderful race game) and Skylanders Giants (love being able to get more use from all the Skylanders figures - even the expansions from the original Skylanders work in the 3DS Giants edition). Netflix works quite well. I was impressed with the video quality. Connecting to other gamers in order to get more avatars is fun, and multiplayer on the Mario Kart 7 is fantastic. I still get to play all my DSi games, which makes this even better, as I have over a dozen games instead of just two. The 3D effects are hit and miss, however. Initially I thought they were really cool, but now I find that I turn the 3D off by sliding the slider all the way down, more often than not. If you are looking for cool 3D effects, I wouldn't base my decision to get this handheld solely on that. I also am not a huge fan of the left joystick control. In a lot of games, you will be required to use the joystick control, when in most cases I would prefer to use the directional pad, because the joystick isn't terribly comfortable. I with they had made that better/easier to manipulate.

My son asked for this game console for Christmas. He loves it and we were both thrilled at the number of games you can buy for it, for a reasonable price.

The system plays regular DS games (2D view) and 3DS games. Graphics and sound are very good. 3D slider moves smoothly and has a "click" when turned off. Play buttons are firm and responsive. Stylus included is small but does the job. Comfortable to hold for long period play sessions. Screen is bright and wide. Circle pad is comfortable and will play with most games. It's good for small kids to adults. This system is much better than regular size 3DS. It does not come with dock charger like regular size 3DS but it comes with AC adapter to charge.

Of course I bought this to just play the new Zelda releases, but it's fun to play Mario and other games on it too. Get one.

I bought this console for my daughter. She has an older Nintendo DS but wanted the newer model, capable of 3D and larger screen. She's very happy with the screen size but the 3D effects initially make her dizzy. She'll try it more and I'll touch base again.
