Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she just loves it. We travel for soccer and she takes it everywhere. She has a very old DS and she can still use her old games on the 3ds just not in 3D which helped on the expense of not having to go out and get all new ones.

Got this for my son. He loves it - and I'm very happy that I decided to go with the XL. Definitely worth the few extra dollars for the larger screens. 3D graphics are amazing!

The 90% larger screen is probably the best part, and the screen resolution is so clear. The battery life is great! Hard to concentrate on this survey as i'm playing my 3DS XL!

After several years my little one asking for a Ds I bought it for her this Christmas and she live if and most of all she is not attach to the game which was one of my concern. Best buy was the only place that had one available and they price match the Nintendo DS3.

Over all, the 3DS XL is the way to go as opposed to the 3DS.It has a better battery life, more screen size, a 4GB card and feels better and manly to handle unlike the 3DS.

Got this for my son for his 6 birthday and he loves it! I like that it can be used in 3d or 2d it seems very user friendly.

I brought this for my 8 year old son and he loves the games on it. The graphics are pretty good and the gameplay challenging. The 3d effects can cause some dizziness in the beginning and everyone is different. It took awhile for my son to get used to it. He played the game mostly non 3d. The screen size is good and so far so good.

Bought the 3DS XL as a Christmas gift for my son. He likes the system, because of its ability to play online with friends, the 3D viewing, and the ability to design his own character. I like that he has used it longer than a week without losing interest in it...

I bought the Red 3DS for my Girl friend so we can play nintendo games together via download play. the feature works great with Mario Kart 7 and Mario party. We also battle with our pokemon games. It's a fun console and worth the money if you like Nintendo games.

I've always been a big fan of Nintendo and I bought this as a gift for my nephew. He loves Mario and you cant find him on any other system. I recommend this to families with children. Nintendo has a great catalog of games that I would consider family friendly.

I really enjoy the 3DS XL. It has a long battery life, great graphics, and most of all I can buy nostalgic games from the market, like Contra and Street Fighter.

So this one is actually for my girlfriend. I have had mine for a year now and she has wanted one since. So far she loves it. Shes big into Animal Crossing and Pokemon with it. The bigger screen is totally worth it. I owned a regular 3ds and love m xl more, easier to hold, and the screen is easy on the eyes. I also noticed that since 2013 was a massive year for the 3DS XL, they are doing a lot to boost features. It has netflix and watching on it is better than most phones. They are adding more features and content because a year ago the apps and store were a bit dry. Glad to see it coming together.

The kids love this game. Much bigger screen them the original Nintendo DS. Can also play regular DS on the system

My son has had a game boy, Nintendo ds and now the 3ds. He's 14 and I thought that kids his age were done with these games, but a lot of the "gamers" love the new Mario Smash bros. game on the ds3D and on the wii u. He was excited getting it for Christmas.

My son loves it and my daughter wants one it's awesome so we're getting another one. Love the accessories and love the graphics. The 3D feature is awesome too....

My daughter had a 2DS prior to this; she absolutely loves the 3DS XL. The larger screen and graphics are great. She can still use her 2DS games on the 3 DS

We purchased this 3DS XL so that my son would have something fun to do on long trips. It scored BIG for us! He loves the games and plays for hours (car rides, plane rides, doctor appointments, long wait for a table at a restaurant all are no problem!).

Nintendo 3DS XL is a remarkable piece of hardware that's packed with plenty of surprises. Having not own a Nintendo system (handheld or home console) in a while the controls where hard at first but where easily judged by me for not playing any handheld console but an iOS device. When you first launch the console you'll first have to set up an Nintendo ID or transfer your data if your upgrading from dsi or smaller 3ds. The $200 price is worth it for a bigger screens. With all the games that Nintendo releases you'll be happy you bought this to play classic and new games from Nintendo's library.

Battery is much improved, Screens are much bigger and clearer but I just miss that charging cradle. Shouldn't have to pay 20 bucks for a 50 cent piece of plastic.

I love the bigger screen and longer battery life. There are a lot of good games out there for the system too such as Luigi Mansion, Fire emblem, and Mario games.
