As with most Nintendo products, the 3ds is genuinely fun and well made. The xl is definitely the way to go due to screen size, but as far as games go, if you're not playing Mario or Zelda the games can be absolutely horrible, it's almost as if there's no quality control over games, but the system itself is solid so I give it a 4.

Bought 2 of these for my kids and they love them! Huge upgrade from the regular ds. Games are better and so are graphics. A must have for road trips. Highly recommend!

my DS was stolen so I decided to buy the 3D/DS/large screen--and it was the best decision

My grandson had wanted a 3D gamer for along time so this was his for Christmas. He loved it, spent a lot of time with it and altogether really liked the product. He is 11.

My grandchildren are very happy with this game. They play it all the time.

Great gift--larger screen makes everything easier to see. You are also able to use some of the older games. Fun to play!

My eyes adjusted so quick to the 3D that I like it even more than than the regular DSI. Makes gaming more fun, specially with the wide selection of games. I love it

Does everything it should, and then some. Looks great, feels good. Possibly the best handheld gaming system on the market.

I got this as a gift for my 11 year old son. He loves it. The screen is so much bigger than his old DS. The fact that it is able to play the older games is great too.

Bought this as a birthday present for my brother and he absolutely loves it. Tons of fun and very easy to use and navigate. Perfect for what I was looking for!

Not a huge fan of the 3D but I enjoy playing the games on this system.

When I play my hand held I like to relax and it is annoying if I have to move just to use the 3D. I like that the 3D can be turned off. The graphics are way better on the 3DS. I like that I can buy games using the e-store and not have to leave the house.

Screen size is great and it gives you more mobility between buttons. It's comfortable to use for a long period of time.

I had the 3DS and this one is much better. The larger screen size and form and feel in your hand is much better.

This is a very nice and easy to use system. I also have the WII U but find myself playing this system all the time.

Keeps my little guy occupied at doctors appointments and other place kids have trouble waiting patiently. He had the regular 3DS and we replaced it with this one.

The 3DS XL has all the great parts from the original 3DS and improves upon the flaws in classic nintendo design. Well worth the money and a great buy all around.

Nevertheless, the 3DS XL is a better gaming device than the 3DS. For starters, it has a bigger screen, a larger 4GB memory card as opposed to the 2GB of the 3DS.
