This is all my son wanted for his birthday, he loves it, perhaps too much.

I bought this for my son 3 weeks before I could get him any games. I was really impressed with the fact that even without purchased games this little mini computer was a cool gaming system for my easily bored son. His sisters find it to be a fun and interactive gaming handheld as well. I was also impressed with the numerous games available for this system!!!!!

Bought this for my 6 year old to replace the old ds and he loves it.

This is great! For a first or an upgrade. The larger screens really help.

I never thought that I would like 3d, but this product changed my mind

The 3D effect on the 3DS isn't that great. You need to hold it at a very specific angle for it to work, and if you move a little bit, you see double until you correct it. I play most of my games with the 3D off to avoid that problem. Also... the battery life is horrible. You can get a couple hours of playtime out of it, but if you leave it overnight in standby mode without plugging it in, you'll have a dead 3DS next time you want to play. Even with wifi turned off! Despite the flaws, I'm enjoying the 3DS/DS library of games. This is my first nintendo handheld, so there's a lot of games out there I've wanted to play, and now i have the chance to do so.

I was hesitant about getting a 3DS, but being able to turn off the 3D functionality makes it worth it. I'm happy with the few games I have that take full advantage of the 3D feature, but few succeed in making it worth using it at all. The speed of the device is amazing. I do love the Nintendo market and being able to download some games that aren't out in stores.

The 3DS XL is a great screen size, and the library can't be beat. Sure the Vita looks better, but doesn't have the software (maybe soon with PS4). For now, this is the handheld to beat.

The extra large screen is awesome! Way better than any DS we have owned.

If you don't own a handheld gaming console and are considering it, look no further than the Nintendo 3DS XL. The catalog of games offered for the system is worth the price of entry, and destroys the competition (Sony Vita.) Form factor is great, and build quality is quite solid. I'm not a huge fan of the 3D option, but it can be cool depending on the game. Get this!

Bought this Nintendo 3DS XL for our granddaughter. She loves to play games and is into the latest technology and she is really enjoying this item. Great price and great shipping.
