My son loves to play Pokemon on the unit. He loves the bigger screen.

Very good has a long lasting battery life, and has lots of features.

Just upgraded from the original DS. bigger screen is nice as well

I have never really liked handheld devices. Either thy have terrible games, or bad battery life, or the screen was too small. But the second I picked this one up and grabbed a few games for it, I fell in love with it. Sure the 3D feature is pretty gimmicky, but there are so many games to play. I've never been a Nintendo fan, but they did great with this 3DS XL.

Bought it as a Christmas gift/upgrade from previous DS and it has been well received since all of the previous game versions are able to be played on it. Seems delighted with it.

I purchased this for my wife originally so she could play the latest pokemon games. (she grew up on the original gameboy). She loved it so much we went and got one for me so we could roll through Pokemon X and Y together. The 3DS is pretty amazing for such a small package. Touch screen, 3D screen, memory, picture taking ability, wi-fi, it's got everything.

Great device, amazing battery and great games for little ones.

This one was a gift to my sister. I already have a blue one. Love the 3ds. Great games and plenty of them now. The extra $ for the XL is worth it. I don't care for the 3D gimmick so I just turn that off. Graphics are not on par with Sony handheld but games more than make up for it.

While the 3D capability is not that good the large screen is excellent. I also like that it plays previous generation games.
