GREAT SYSTEM WITH GREAT GRAPHICS, MY SON LOVES IT!

My son is on his 3DS XL more then any of the other handheld units I have bought him throughout the years. Which believe me, that has been quite a few. Starting with the release of the Game Boy Color & then every new one released since. I bought my son the 3DS XL for his 19th birthday and I think it was a great gift!

The 3DSXL is an amazing device. Both screens look amazing for such a relatively small device. The games really do look like I'm playing in my tv through one of my consoles, well close anyways. Would recommend this to somebody who likes playing the retro games but does not want to ROM them on their computer

This is one of several Nintendo gaming units we have bought for our family and we are never disappointed with the quality of the items. We haven't have any problems with our systems for the most part too. I also like the fact that they offer mostly non-violent games that are are good for familes to play together.

This is by far the best handheld I have ever owned. The ability to share game data just by walking beside someone else with a 3DS makes some great mini-games possible. The quality of games now on this system, coupled with the Virtual Console, makes tons of hours of entertainment for individuals of any age.

I would recommend this to anybody. They have games or apps for all aged. Some are also educational. There are free apps you can download and demo games before you buy them. Instead of going to the store to buy the games, you can download them right from the Nintendo. You can take pictures or make videos.

Awesome handheld for my 5 year old with great kid games. Be sure to get a good case for it though. My daughter is on her second one, because she broke the case and I didn't get her another one fast enough. Luckily, I bought a 2 year warranty. Totally worth it! My daughter loves it, and plays it everyday!

My daughter likes the color (Black/Black). The screen is much bigger. It would be better if it come with some pre-loaded games and/or accessories.

Got it for my sons birthday back in October. He takes it with him wherever we go. He's still exploring all the apps but mostly plays a farming simulator game that I bought to go with it. I purchased this to replace his leapfrog tablet he's had for 2 yrs. Price is a little high for my liking but aren't all electronics? He loves it so that's all that matters.

Our son has difficulty with his fine motor skills. The dsi line has really helped some of his fine motor problems. He's also autistic, and the 3ds gives him the distraction he needs in overstimulating situations. He loves his 3ds and plays it daily. The console did fall apart at the hinges a few months after we purchased it, but we had the extended return plan from Best Buy. Rather than having to send it to Nintendo at our own cost, Best Buy let us return it, with no problems. My son is back to playing it every spare second he has, and is happy.

Incredible gaming system, pricing is comparable to other systems. Large library of games to choose from. The 3DS XL is a great upgrade to the original 3DS. The bigger screens are very nice, and the console is a lot more comfortable in the hands, especially when playing for longer periods of time. Recommended if you already have a 3DS or not.

It's a great devise for kids between 8-10, the graphics need improvement and the 3D is not great. if your getting it for the 3D it's not worth it. Its good for games and thats it.

Purchased this as a gift for grandson at Christmas. Love, love, loves it! He liked it so much, that my husband bought one for me. Now, we compete playing the Super Mario Bros2 3D game. Love it.

This was a gift for a 7-year-old, and it's great. Lots of game options, easy to hold and control, and large bright screens for fun gameplay. Nice options for parental and privacy control, good battery life, and compact profile without being "too" fragile are nice features parents will appreciate.

I love the Nintendo hand-helds. From the Gameboy to the DS, i've played them all. This new intro is amazing. You have a huge library from all kinds of games from way back when to the latest titles. If you're looking to upgrade or start your kids on a new tradition, the 3DS XL is the way to go.

Love the larger screen and the durability! Great that it plays older DS games. This was a birthday gift for my son and he loves it!
