Great system. The only reason I purchased it from Best Buy was the fact that I had a lemon of a Tv purchased from them and they would not return my money after having it for 2 months in their geek squad so I had to use the store credit for something. Will never buy anything from best buy again

My son got his 3DS XL for his 5th birthday. He is now 6 and still plays it constantly. The games keep coming out and you can even purchase the classics. The internet is easily accessible and you can set parental controls.

Game was purchased for better portable gaming experience. While Traveling the DS offers options for gaming similar to home gaming.

I thoroughly enjoy using the Nintendo 3DS. I've been a Nintendo fan since the original Gameboy.. and I still have mine! This is easily my favorite handheld since the Gameboy. Nice to not have to change out AA batteries, but I still wish I'd get a full day's worth of battery out of the 3DS.

I waited for a long time to buy it. I was hoping it would come for sale but never did. Finally bought it in best buy, bought a game and immediately started playing and enjoying. It is a bit pricey but I think it is worth it.

The 3DS XL is a good piece of hardware. With the up coming release of Nintendo's well known franchises, the 3DS XL will maximize the fun and challenge of its games.The eshop makes purchase of new titles and software easy, and the included 4 GB SD card makes storing that data simple.

The game system over all is great, and the toughest/worst ting is not the game but trying to have a 6 1/2 year old become ok with limited usage. If he had his way he would play all day long. The system is a little slow loading games, but not a show stopper. The 3D part can be turned off and that was good for us since there jury is still out on the real effects on children's eyes. The good part is that Nintendo even mentions that one should limit children's viewing time. Over all it is a great system for kids.

My daughter was just dying for this system, we got it for her 11th birthday in November she was so excited. She did not put it down for couple of weeks. It came in very handy on the plane for our Canada trip for Christmas/New Years holiday. Great when all the kids get together to play.

I purchased the 3DS XL after my adult son showed me that Animal Crossing had a new game available for the 3DS. I don't normally care for handheld games, but have found it difficult to put this one down. Any time I have an hour or so, it is my go to for some quick gaming action.

The 3DS is a great handheld system. I haven't had a handheld since Gameboy Advance, and I think this system is worth every penny. The is a good variety of games available. The system has a lot of useful features, and it's fun to interact with other gamers through wi-fi networks.

This is a gift to my son, He was avid fan of Pokemon. He used to have DS but not bought one until 3DS XL come out. Even I want to have a chance to play but he is totally into it all the time. Nintendo does it again.

I think its great but my only complaint is screen quality however its not that noticeable and definitely worth the larger screen

Bought it to have fun. Was just expecting to be able to play games and that was about it. But it's quite feature filled. Netflix, Internet. All sorts of little things that you can do within the games that leverage the new tech. It's quite a step up from the old gameboys.

The 3DS is easily the best handheld console on the market right now, so for sure you should get it if you're considering it. Personally, I recommend the XL over the standard 3DS if you've got larger hands if only to prevent the cramping that can come with playing handhelds.

Overall pleased with the system, wish the internet would work a little faster. Great graphics and accessibility to more aps.

I went back and forth about the 3DS and Vita and bought the 3DS because of the great support of games for it from 1st party and 3rd. Having fun with the streetpass a bonus I knew nothing about. The only other problem is that I would of liked another stick on the right side.

I love the 3ds xl. Excellent christmas gift if you haven't purchase it.

The console is great. Large screens are better. They keep making better games for it so you will always have 3d experience.
