What can I say, I have followed this game since I discovered it for the Wii, and I was not disappointed in the slightest with the 3DS version. Very true to the original, still lots of fun and still lots to do. Very lengthy game that does not feel repetitive and has lots of replay ability.

This is a perfect example of what the "New"3ds is capable of. If you are looking for mind blowing graphics that compete with the same game on the Wii released a few years back, skip over this one. Remember it's just a handheld game after all. This game has a story and a fighting system that will go down as legendary in the years to come. If you want a great game with a long well written story to go on for ages. This is exactly the game for you!

I never got around to owning the OG Xenoblade Chronicles but I'm glad I held out. This one isn't AS expensive and the graphics might be a little cleaner but the 3D looks good. 4 stars since it's kinda muddy in some spots when you're shifting the camera around it's a long term game and it keeps you entertained. I would definitely say it's worth buying but maybe wait til it's on sale, also NOTE: this is only for the N3DS and not the 3DS model.

I bought a new 3ds for this game itself (since the wii version cost an arm and a leg) and the ability to play it remotely. It's so much fun. the battle system is solid, the animation is as good as a 3ds will allow, and it really reminds me of final fantasy vii. play this game.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is a port of the Wii game. This game excels at giving a large world to explore, many side quests to complete, and delivering an awesome soundtrack to listen. If you missed Xenoblade Chronicles the first time and you love JRPGs, then you should check out this title. There are some drawbacks the graphics are a downgrade from the Wii version. The camera takes a while to learn how to adjust it properly.

this is a great game. Taken from the wii original now in a portable form. The 3ds takes advantage of all of the original perks of the game and is also amiibo compatible! Don't feel too bad if you diddnt get the shulk amiibo, you can get the same bonus from streetpass.

Awesome game once your in your hooked its hard to put down, I would give it 5 stars or 4.5 but the NEW 3DS graphics should be better, its like I am playing it on the Wii. The NEW 3DS is a great system but with all the hype they put into this game I would love to see it in HD and this DS should have been bumped up for this release. Over all great story, excellent character development with the story line.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is a BIG game. Wait. It's a huge game. Yet it works on the New 3DS. This game is classic JRPG with new tech. When it was originally released on the Wii it was extremely limited. Now is your chance to experience this great game.

Although this game was originally released on the Wii, it still has much replay value with the added 3D feature and amiibo function. This is a great game and a must buy if you own a New 3DS console. As a reminder, it's only compatible with the New 3DS.

Xenoblade Chronicles first came out on the Wii in 2012 to universal praise. Most heralded it as the "Best RPG of this Generation." However, due to exclusivity and supply restraints, the Wii copy is in VERY short supply. This port of the game for New Nintendo 3DS is, without a doubt, the best handheld RPG in existence and one of the best RPGs ever made. PERIOD. Combat, while complex and challenging, is explained VERY well, but not it a way that makes you feel like an idiot or waste your time like most modern RPGs do. The characters are memorable, and the world is MASSIVE. You will be amazed by how "open world" this game feels. Please note you need NEW 3DS to play this game. IN OTHER WORDS, if you have a 3DS that was made before 2015, you cannot play this game. That said, pick up a New 3DS today and enjoy one of the greatest RPGs of all time.

Amazing game. I'm suprised I missed the wii version. This game has so much to offer. Big and wide lands, skill combinations, building affinity for more bonuses. Lots of enemies and great battle mechanism , interesting characters and more.

I played the Wii version of this game quite extensively, and this is as faithful a port as one could hope for. I was concerned about the softening of the textures, but I hardly notice when I am playing the game unless I am really focused on picking it apart. The truth is, even though the art direction in this game is outstanding, it is the total package that made the original a great game. That package is just as great in this portable version, and a heck of a lot easier to find at this point. If you've never played this game on the Wii, I would recommend you buy this right away if it is at all of interest to you. If you're on the fence due to concerns about graphics and framerates, rest assured that the frame rates are excellent and the graphic modifications, while noticeable, do not make this game any less amazing than you remember it.

One of the best RPGs in recent times and a great chance to pick it up if you missed it's Wii release. If you're looking to upgrade an old 3DS, or pick your first one up, this is a very good reason to get the New 3DS instead of an older model.

If you're looking for a great action JRPG with good length, look no further. It's been a while since I've played a decent jrpg and this game does not disappoint. With side quests, this game will put you in for over 100 hours of game play.

We haven't played the Wii version, and we were afraid that the port to the weaker 3DS would affect our first impression, but so far, none of our concerns about the graphics, sounds, or controls are bothering us. Hard to put down!

I had thought that there was going to be more content. Turns out that was Xenoblade X that was gonna have more content. I was disappointed. That said, it was an outstanding game on the Wii, its still just as outstanding on the NN3DS.

This Xenoblade release of the original is really great. Although it does not look as great as the original Wii release, it does its best to stay true to its original vision. It has no slowdown and is a great game to have for the go.

Xenoblade is full of wonderful gameplay. If you've played the game on the WII, the graphics are comparable. The only drawback is the requirement of the NEW Nintendo 3DS, but if you've upgraded, this game is more than worth it.

This game is on the wii, if you can find it a reasonable price. But if not then pick it up on the new 3ds. It's the same great game from the wii but in 3d. Very epic story and will keep you playing for more than 20 hours.

A short summary cannot remotely come close to explain how massive Xenoblade Chronicles is and the insane amount of content this game offers. Merely 40 hours in and already I know this is one of the best JRPGs out there.
