When I got this phone I knew photo processing take its time and I was fine with it. I have been using this phone for about a year and love it. The only thing that makes me upset is that the camera sometimes freezes when has to focus in detailed frames and it is getting worse over time. I'm wondering if has to do with memory or something

This phone is very excellent in terms of camera, display, speed and calls. The build quality is also very good with strong Corning gorilla glass 5 on both the sides. The touch and feel of this phone is very smooth as silk.

There is a learning curve and a few hiccups - the people who will appreciate this most are people who are comfortable setting their Camera to manual - but it takes incredible pictures and the rest of the phone works great.

I love this phone's design and that it carries the Android One badge. The camera is pretty much hit and miss with it being more on the miss side in terms of processing speed. The finger print reader is a disaster forcing me to gain access to my locked phone via a PIN security code. Everything else works extremely well!

I waited patiently for the rumored NOKIA 9 Pureview to come out to replace mine and my girlfriends Microsoft Lumia 950XL's. For me, it was all about the camera and the NOKIA name. Finally, the phone was announced and I hurried up an ordered two. They came in quick and they are beautiful. The glass is slippery, so slippery that the phone could slide off a table. I purchased a cover for my gf's and opted not to get one for mine. Like everyone stated, the finger print reader is useless. Oddly, my gf's seems to work ok for hers, but mine is pure junk. I chose to disable it. Yesterday I tried to re-enable it and saw that there was some sort of update, yet, still junk. I will be disabling it again. As for the camera. Day time shots are great. Beautiful. Natural. As for low light and no light. They are horrible under auto. If you use a flash, forget it. The photo is not even curable using Lightroom. I am getting used to using no flash or Pro mode and making corrections in Lightroom, but who wants to always do that? Not me, surely not my girlfriend. I will say that my several year old Lumia 950XL took much better photos. Their use of a Dynamic Flash was fantastic. I want to recommend this phone out of love for Nokia, but I simply can not. I am starting to get used to Android, but it is broken worse then possibly the first Windows 10 Mobile. And that was really bad. I hope for a camera update, a fingerprint update or something. Maybe if a newer version comes out Nokia/HMD will offer an upgrade. Fingers crossed that things will get better. I want to recommend this, but I simply can not. It is a shame too, because the phone is gorgeous and the daytime photos are great.

It just doesnt work right. I send it to service with well known issues. It came late with note that it has "liquid damage" and it was not repaired. After longer discussion they found out that they made mistake and it DOES NOT have liquid damage and they DID repaired the issues. But it took all around 2 months. Worst customer service I experienced, ever. Mostly just ignoration and "bot" answers. Results: Touch ID before didnt work (maybe in 1%), now works in 10-15%. Mostly is better after setting up a new finger but after a while it is bad again. I believe there is a software issue. Photos - good quality? Well not at all for what you expect. I did plenty of pictures and many I edited in lightroom (even in PC, classic). However, 12MP is 12MP. Other thing, I tried many times bokeh and it is really garbage. There was mess in it and pictures were worthless. With latest update! I do not understand what was the improvement, but when you have different surroundings focused in different part of the picture, it just looks like an error. And there were sometimes differences 50m+. It is just wrong. Maybe if they would make their own photo app, it could do some magic. But my old Xiaomi Mi5 (RIP) did sometimes better job. Im not sure if all 5 cameras are not doing just the same with no difference...as in video. But if someone will prove me wrong, I will be more than thankful. Because I was really looking forward for this phone. But it is at this moment just more and more disappointing. Let see if they will surprise us with some real solutions...

Just to address the fingerprint sensor. Ive had this phone since day one and the fingerprint sensor was stiff. You had to push pretty hard. Now after a week or so it seems to have broken in. I really no longer have to press so hard. The rest of the phone is awesome and I love it

Nokia is still Nokia, the best design, and UX experience, nothing more nothing less, holding this phone like a kid holding a candy.

Better than average camera, but call quality is really bad, drops call randomly

Like Android one minimalism. A step up from my Moto x4. Fingerprint reader not great, but I knew this going in. I'm a basic phone user, it works.

The camera is amazing but extremely slow. 4K video is just “ok” but yet again it’s $699

I pre-ordered the device, and returned it. The screen felt thin and cheap. I strongly prefer phones with a solid glass feeling, this felt like texting on a Glad food container. The thumbprint reader was cool, but not as accurate as I would have liked. There were some other small issues like no headphone jack I was disappointed to find, but I could have looked past to have the camera, but the flagship feature of the phone didn't work either. Out of the box, the camera only launches once, then crashes subsequent times, requiring a reboot to launch the camera again. I waited out an update rolled out, but that made the crashing issue worse. I'm not sure if it was an issue with the device or bugs in the software, but I didn't stick around to find out given the cost of the phone and short return window. If you're considering this phone and don't mind the cheap feeling screen, this is probably a good phone, but I would wait a few updates out before trying agian.

Only one negative thing, the finger print reader is kind of not really good, sometimes it gives you a hard time trying to unlock the phone.

This is a great phone. It takes excellent pictures . It has multiple cameras. Love it.

Love the way it looks and feels, definitely need a case for it it's very slick
