You cant slide the loop down out of the way. Says its Horween Leather but my wallet is Horween and this watch band felt like plastic. Didnt even feel like leather. I have a nomad case and the case feels so much better. Dont recommend this. I returned it.

Doesn’t hold up well

Sorry to hear that you're disappointed with the aging process of your strap! Leather is a natural material and is therefore subject to change over time with daily use and wear. At Nomad, we consider changes in the color and texture not as a flaw, but inherent to the elegance of the leather. With continued use, these scratches will buff out and as your strap develops more of a patina, it will become less susceptible to these scratches. You can also try using a soft cloth to buff out the scratches on your leather strap. I bought it in August 2017 and is now on usable the leather is glued together with and has come apart the bands from the park. I emailed nomad about getting a replacement two months ago through their warranty application, and they haven’t responded since their first email suggesting about the warranty application. I would not recommend buying his band again to anyone.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. We experienced a bug with our warranty application forms a few months ago where we stopped receiving them altogether for a short time. Maybe your application was one of the ones affected by this bug. We're happy to replace this strap for you! The leather that is glued together on this strap is designed so that it does not come apart easily. It sounds like you may have received a defective strap that was not glued correctly. I got a bad rash after wearing it for several weeks. When I contacted Nomad they said "their leather is untreated" and refused to offer any assistance/support because I purchased it at Best Buy. It was used by that point, so I couldn't return it. Not great customer service, and not a great product.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with our Leather Strap! It is rare, but I do hear of customers having a reaction to our leather straps every so often. The leather that we use is produced and vegetable tanned at Horween in Chicago. We use the Essex tannage, and more info on that can be found here: https://www.horween.com/articles. The Essex tannage is unique for its high oil content, which could possibly be the source of irritation for you. I do apologize for your first customer service experience with us. We are happy to work with Best Buy customers and issue replacements for Best Buy purchases that are under warranty. I would like to make this right and reach a resolution with you.
