I got a bad rash after wearing it for several weeks. When I contacted Nomad they said "their leather is untreated" and refused to offer any assistance/support because I purchased it at Best Buy. It was used by that point, so I couldn't return it. Not great customer service, and not a great product.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with our Leather Strap! It is rare, but I do hear of customers having a reaction to our leather straps every so often. The leather that we use is produced and vegetable tanned at Horween in Chicago. We use the Essex tannage, and more info on that can be found here: https://www.horween.com/articles. The Essex tannage is unique for its high oil content, which could possibly be the source of irritation for you. I do apologize for your first customer service experience with us. We are happy to work with Best Buy customers and issue replacements for Best Buy purchases that are under warranty. I would like to make this right and reach a resolution with you. Grabs the hair on your arm

Yes, its decent leather quality but it is always grabbing the hair on your arm. One of the reasons I use a leather strap is to avoid the pinching of hair so I don't know how this thing does it, but you'll be pulling your hair out of the strap every day!

The biggest problem is the chunky black attachment point. Genuine Apple bands have much more seamless connections that do not impact the look of the watch face itself so much.
