Nice graphics card. Maybe a little more juice than I need- but I get tired of updating every could of years. Installed easily windows 10 recognized and it was running within 15 minutes. Has the power to run the newest games

This card is a beast. The card I had prior to this was a GTX 960 and that could handle almost everything I threw at it, this card can handle anything I throw at it. This card is good if you want to do 4k gaming or 1080p VR.

I purchased the GTX1070 to add to my exsisitng GTX1070 for SLI. It has added another 40% additional power to my current rig. Along with GSYNC very happy to have purchased it from BestBuy and no price gouge.

This is a fantastic card and a great upgrade from my GTX 970. It's beautifully designed, quiet and, most importantly, FAAAASSSTTT! If you're a gamer, don't hesitate to buy this card. The price is right, too.

This is a great graphics card. I installed it in an external graphics amplifier for my gaming laptop and was able to run all of my games in 2k resolution on ultra hitting a smooth 60fps (most of the time)

Great CPU. Definitely worth it's price by the performance it has. This has ran every game at a smooth FPS on high/ultra settings so far. Games like Skyrim: Special Edition, BF1, GTA V, Fallout 4, and Doom.

I'm currently running 2 of these in one PC. They stay cool and aren't too loud. I'm sure there are quieter cards, but these are quiet enough. Performance and reliability have been great too.

Great performing card, but a little bit on the pricey side. This card has been able to handle any game I have thrown at it with very high detail 60+ fps. The card is probably overkill for my needs, but I am hoping to squeeze a few more years of use out of it before needing to replace it. The card is actually pretty unoticeably quiet in my corsair obsidian case, but I am also only running it at stock speed. I was surprised Best Buy actually had the best price compared to other online retailers. The one con I would say is that the GTX LED logo is not RGB so it only illuminates solid green. Not a big deal, but a minor detail that might bug some people.

The 1070 is a great purchase. I picked this up for a few years of future proofing. It maxes out games at 1440 and has added VR benefits that i did not miss out on. It can run some games at 4K 60 fps.

I am a gamer, and It was time to upgraded from a laptop that was running a 660m in it. I bought all my PC parts except for the graphics card as I knew the 2070 and 2080 were going to be coming out on the market soon. I found it at a really reasonable price and I have not had a single problem with it. I was concerned about the single fan, but I am currently at 33ºC and have not had any reason to be concerned with the temperatures I has seen so far. I expect this one will last me just as long as the previous Nividia card did and I am getting the same wonderful service and updates from Nividia that brought me to buy them again.

I won't recapitulate other reviews, I was using a GTX 970 and suffice to say the bump in performance is very nice. The Pascal based gpu does support hardware acceleration of h.265 videos, so that's a good feature to have for the future. My cpu won't have to break a sweat to play that format, which features excellent compression. Online reviewers are finding these cards to boost as strongly as even the most custom of versions from nVidia's add in board partners like MSI, EVGA, and so on. Though cooling plays an essential part in that. I have a Dell XPS and its case cooling is kind of "meh". I've added a bigger PSU, with its bigger fan, to it, as well as jury rigging an input fan I managed to squeeze into the front of the case. So maybe that helps but the real trick for good boost speeds with this gpu is to use a custom fan profile. From guru3d's site you can download the beta version of Afterburner which supports the new Pascal based cards. In the future Guru3D will host the final version as usual but the software is currently in beta (version 14 at the moment). But whatever software you use, just set up a more aggressive custom fan profile so as to keep your gpu temperatures down. nVidia mandates that the bios for all chips have a very conservative level of throttling enabled based on gpu temperature (and voltage, and power usage, so overvolting is often counter productive). Long story short, if your gpu is hitting 80 degrees Celsius, or even a bit lower, you won't be getting the best boost speeds. So I set my fan profile to be at 100% fan speed at 70 degrees Celsius. I'm getting great boost speeds, and the gpu stays cool. Generally I don't hit 100% fan speed as the gpu temp levels off in the 60s, temperature wise. But in a demanding game, after a lot of play, it might come close. Now here's part of why I give this card the highest rating. To my ears the cooler never gets offensively loud. Heck, my gold rated PSU's 135 mm fan produces more volume when gaming. And the cooler really works. Even though the GTX 1070 doesn't eat a lot of power/produce a lot of heat the blower does an amazing job of pushing heat out the back of the card and out the case. I put my hand back there and I can really feel the heat when running a benchmark. This is a great thing to have if the cooling of your case is just "meh", like mine. While this card is a bit noisier at full blast than my previous GTX 970 with its excellent EVGA ACX 2.0+ cooler was, I think that overall the noise from my Dell has decreased. Getting that hot air out of the case means the case fan, cpu fan, and PSU fan are dealing with less heat emanating from the gpu, and thus they can run at a lower RPM. I wish I'd taken measurements before this purchase, but even with my Dell just a few feet from me, and when not using my headphones, I can't hear noise from the case when gaming, even in moments that are relatively quiet. If I'm in a stealthy moment of a game, with no noise, then I might notice a moderate hum of the fans from my case. After exiting the game the sound of the fans isn't at all bad, and quickly quiets down. The GTX 1070 is the quickest to cool down and become quiet, fwiw. Lol, even when the gpu fan is about down to idle I can still hear the other fans as they cycle down. This is partly why I know what's causing the most sound from my case. So, arguably, this card was the quietest solution to getting a GTX 1070 for me. With even the best/quietest custom card I might have more noise overall. Great job on this card's construction, imo.

You have to get a sweet spot with this card per game, you must adjust the settings accordingly, just because its a 1070 doesnt mean it can run maxed out it has some drawbacks that im unsure of how to get it to stable out best of luck to others but other than some studdering, great card

I'm using this card in a smaller setup and the blower design works great at dissapating heat. It will handle most games at 1440p which is all I ask of it. Highly recommended!

Excellent card. Overclocks well and is quiet except for at full load. I have two of these in SLI and haven't come across a game I can't run at max settings. Now I just need a G-sync monitor.

This graphics card is everything it advertises, sure it runs a bit hot but I have yet to go over 45c so it really comes down your cooling. Runs most games on max with 60+ fps but depending on the games I have seen frame dips which may just be performance issues with that particular game. Not a fan of the single hdmi port making me use display port adapters but thats just me. Overall if your an enthusiast for gaming just buy the new titan model, if you want an economical card for this next generation get this or a variant of the 1070. If your stuck in the middle and don't want to drop $1k+ on the new titan but feel you deserve better than the 1070, get the 1080.
