Excellent device, but not for me

It's great and has a lot of potential. However, I am one of those people who are adversely affected by VR. It took me a couple days to get over the vertigo / vision affect that a partial day of use imparted on me. I ended up giving it to a friend who loves it! In this case, this is definitely a try before you buy thing.

Best in Mobile VR

I previously had the Gear and did not like it as my phone would get hot and lose storage. I particularly like Face your Fears and Epic Rollercoasters as the experiences are quite immersive. If you can wait until spring I think the Oculus Quest will be the way to go for the best in mobile VR as that unit will track movement. It will also be $400 so choose wisely.

THE best for someone who is just getting into VR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of the box, download app. and start going places all over the world and outer space..way better then my 3-D TV.. got to sit in a chair that you can move around in a 360 movement..better than standing and turning around..I am 80 years young and can now go on any roller- coster and not worry about the G--FORCE on my neck.. I think I will get another VR set to let my friends enjoy while I am on mine.. the best buy I have ever made
