Pretty good so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gave this to my Husband for Christmas this morning. He really likes it. Some things we watched looked a little blurry but we're hoping they were just poorly created. Looking forward to playing more with it. The battery only lasted about an hour. Hopefully once it has been recharged and discharged a few more times it will last longer.

Great first step into virtual reality.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great first step into virtual reality. This is great for entry-level beginners wanting to dabble without the expense or half the computer to pump out real VR. Certainly not going to be able to play a lot of the games that are most popular at the moment but for a travel option or a entry-level jump into virtual reality I would recommend.

Standalone VR headsets are the FUTURE!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was amazed at the user friendly capabilities this standalone headset contained. Using your cell phone with a VR device proved to be very cumbersome. The standalone models take away a great deal of stress and confusion, not to mention the power suction that came with using your cell phone with a VR device. Oculus Go is the way to go!!

Pretty Decent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty cool standalone VR headset - it’s my first one. The battery life on the device is bit lacking. It drops real quick when playing online games. I can barely get 1.5 hours playing poker. The resolution isn’t great either but it’s not terrible. I’d like to see higher resolutions on the next device with a better battery life.

Oculus Go Ok starter VR set
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a starter set its OK. It is no longer manufactured and newer Occulus Quest is on its way. It's OK starter set but at this point all you will be able to use it for it watching movies and some light socializing. Games are available but you only have one controller. Its not going to do what Quest Rift and other higher end sets with sensors can do. This is mostly couch potato set. This being said it might meet some people's needs well enough in you can watch Netflix Amazon prime and other subscription services as if you were sitting in a movie theater. Now with stay at home it's nice to be able to do that. If you are looking for high end VR set this is not it. Also this needs to be said. The set overheats so most people strap on a CPU fan on the face plate. It makes the set heavier.

A portable new world
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A wonderful and convenient device for experiencing some of what the VR community has to offer. A big step up from your smart phones but nowhere near the gaming platform of the vive or the rift. If you're really wanting a mobile gaming setup, you may want to wait for the Quest. Otherwise a great middle of the road platform for VR.

Wish it had bluetooth and a better battery
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Docked point for not having bluetooth, but otherwise this is a fun and functional VR unit. We've had a lot of fun with different games and watching movies is really cool. It is a pain to watch with plugin headphones though. Battery could also be better.

Great beginners headset
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very pleased with my oculus go headset. It is a great and affordable option for those wanting to start to dabble in virtual reality. My only complaint is the battery life on it. Other than that, I’ve enjoyed the immersive games, different social apps and watching movies. Definitely worth my money.

Great product and very easy to use.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Christmas present for my 11 year old son and he has not put it down. Virtual reality is the next big thing and it is unbelievable how you can play games, watch movies, sports, etc. You don’t have to connect to a computer or tv just charge it and have internet connection and you are all set. We love the purchase.

Great entry VR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great headset for those looking to try out VR, and dont wantf to spend too much on a more powerful headset, or cant run VR with their computer. This headset is less powerful than others like the vive or rift, and has similar games to the gear vr. It is however, a pain to use with glasses, even woth the inculded glasses spacer

Good Initial Plunge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The experiences with the GO are very good. I feel the visuals are immersive. I have daughters and they enjoy the roller coaster games. I enjoy the Discovery videos. I am disappointed in the battery life. If the system is unplugged, it loses about 20% battery a day with no use. Overall, not disappointed as this is my first VR.

Best version yet! Endless entertainment.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I find a new treasure every day, whether it's playing Mini-golf, Ping-Pong, endless up close and personal animal encounters, museums, travel, in 3-D, in the mood for a real scare, or having your own movie theater experience it does not fail to amaze. The fact that you can now share your experiences makes things even more fun. Love it!

Affordable wireless VR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oculus Go is an interesting product that brings affordability to the VR world. For $200 or $250 for a larger capacity this unit offers a wireless look into the future of VR and allows lots of hours of entertainment. My only gripe is the battery can deplete rather quickly so having an external battery pack is recommended.

My First Entry Into VR and Doesn't Disappoint!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was on the fence for a while between the Oculus Rift and the Go. I am so glad I purchased the Oculus Go as I can still enjoy the amazing world of VR without having to carry my gaming laptop and the additional sensors around. So far I have been able to introduce this to a few family members and friends and they all have really loved it!

Works Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried Lenovo headsets, but they didn't work very well with my PC, even though its a gaming rig. This is standalone, doesn't need a PC at all. The media stuff is great, and the games are entertaining although mostly very basic. You can use the Virtual Desktop app to see your computer desktop (and anything on it.) So I've even played games like Borderlands 2 on it, and it worked well. (You will need a high end wifi router if you are going to try and stream games like that.) If you're just getting into it, the price is great, doing things on it is easy, and my whole family of six love it. I highly recommend. Probably the most fun new technology thing I've purchase din a long time. Some notes: you can connect an xbox or playstation controller for more complicated gaming. I even use my keyboard and mouse for some games. If you're pretty tech savvy you can 'sideload games that aren't available on Oculus Go yet. I did it with Minecraft VR, and its very cool. It wasn't particularly hard, but it did take some time to do. If you want to do some hardcore gaming maybe the full Oculus model would be a better fit for you.
