I have tried Lenovo headsets, but they didn't work very well with my PC, even though its a gaming rig. This is standalone, doesn't need a PC at all. The media stuff is great, and the games are entertaining although mostly very basic. You can use the Virtual Desktop app to see your computer desktop (and anything on it.) So I've even played games like Borderlands 2 on it, and it worked well. (You will need a high end wifi router if you are going to try and stream games like that.) If you're just getting into it, the price is great, doing things on it is easy, and my whole family of six love it. I highly recommend. Probably the most fun new technology thing I've purchase din a long time. Some notes: you can connect an xbox or playstation controller for more complicated gaming. I even use my keyboard and mouse for some games. If you're pretty tech savvy you can 'sideload games that aren't available on Oculus Go yet. I did it with Minecraft VR, and its very cool. It wasn't particularly hard, but it did take some time to do. If you want to do some hardcore gaming maybe the full Oculus model would be a better fit for you.

Up till now I’ve been developing apps for the gear and rift the go is great for demoing on the fly with clients. Easy and intuitive and you don’t have to horse around with putting your phone into the device and explaining a lot about the controls

I loved the fact that this could be used on the go. Super easy to use and simple set up. Downloading the app also helps a lot. It made looking and downloading games much easier. So if your looking for a VR but something that doesn’t require a whole new set up then this is it. Great for kids and adults.

I bought this so that I could show family and friends the wonders of the VR world. I have played so many games and movies so far no mayor issues. The only thing is the battery time does not last very long. I haven't experienced motion sickness so that's a plus.

This thing is awesome! I’m so glad I got it. If you are just getting into VR i highly recommended starting with this one. The only bad thing I would say about it is the battery life sucks. But it really hasn’t bothered me because I just plug it in after every use. Then it is always charged and ready to go for the next time I use it.

I bought Oculus VR goggles before but you had to use your phone. My phone would heat up and then stop to cool down and that was a pain. With these VR goggles you don’t need a phone. The quality of picture is great. You have a great selection of apps to choose from too. I did recommend these to my friends.

Hm althoug I do like he ocolus go, it was kind of very hard time to set up the device specially if you lost the celphone you paired it with first or forget which device you use. For a standalone device, it makes no sense that it took me 2 weeks to be able to use and set up the device. I actually had to return the first one due to that mistake. I set it up on a friends cellphone just to get it to work. but Nah you still kinda need the phone or need to remove device from ocolus acc to be able to link to other device. Which why would this be sold as a standalone device. It should as simple as turn on, connect to wifi, download some apps and get to use the vr Pros Def more comfortable the s. vr no need to adjust the lens when it gets blurry battery life is decent conpared to s. vr. which overheats the phone remove or stick is useful but make sure not to lo0ose or you will be unable to control the VR (Touchpad somewhere) volume key. overall I recommend this device but pay attention on the set up portion of your vr.

The Oculus Go works fine but has limited games due to the single controller. Personally I am not sure why Oculus makes the GO. I purchase the Quest and it is so much better. It is truly a VR experience vs the GO.

I like the fact that it is self-contained and you don't need to get a phone or something else to get connected. There are many free aplications, and others that are not that expensive. However i do not have experience using it for video-games, therefore.I will not be able to speak about it in those terms

I have been waiting 20 years to get into virtual reality the bigger headsets while providing better quality often require thousands of dollars investments this rig is great for beginners and provides a vast amount of experiences to be seen especially great during this quarantine

This was a great purchase to get an idea of how VR works and to not have to bug a desktop or Samsug galaxy phone. Works great and you can interact with others who have the same Oculus. Fun and exciting movies and games. Plus Netflix or any other app you can watch TV or movies. Just need Wifi and you are a go.

This is my first purchase of a vr headset, and overall it’s not bad. Some negatives for me are that the battery life isn’t great, it can be hard to adjust to get a really clear image, and last but not least, this particular headset is now discontinued!

An amazing product, with only two faults. Battery life is short..an hour maybe two.. and it shuts off if you are” too still”. But after surgery this was a life saver from boredom! You can lay flat and watch Netflix and Hulu, YouTube.. no VR needed, change the screen size to suit.

For watching videos and playing simple games it’s a lot of fun. This is not intended for serious gaming, but that was not why I bought this. Whole family enjoys it but I wish the battery lasted a little longer. Sometimes I would watch 75% of a movie then stop to charge before finishing.

Good starter VR headset for the money. You can still play VR games but it is pretty limited compared to more expensive VR headsets. This is more for social type stuff like Youtube & watching movies. Battery seems like it could be better. I can get about a hour or so of time out of it & be at 50%.

I Purchased this over the holiday just to ensure that my son was exposed to it, he currently plays Xbox one and streams. I personally wanted to spend the extra money for a BR for myself adult child LOL. I tried the oculus go and was amazed everyone that I allowed to try the system was also amazed. I’m excited as to whether the yard is going. There are a few cons… It seems to reset itself every time is removed from your head and maybe pass to a player or place down, I think it’s a little bit confusing having to power all the way down then power up to get to the home screen. Other than that there are no other cons the battery life is sufficient I’ve taken it For hours on end well 3 to 5 hours the play is been fine I enjoy the oculus go I can’t wait till they release the quest again. My advice get you one. Get a case for it so it will not scratch and you can ensure the longevity of your product.

Was on the fence a bit between the Oculus Rift and Go as I had just purchased an Alienware computer. I am happy I went with the 64GB Go as I don't have to carry the laptop and accessories around like you do with the Rift. It's nice to be able to just put the headset on and jump straight into a virtual world.

I wasn't sure what to expect. I wanted to use this for viewing movies and videos. It connected to my household network quickly and the connection to Netflix was easy. I am still getting the viewing settings worked out. This is working as I hoped and very pleased with the product.

This is a great product for anyone looking to get into VR for the first time. It’s a stand alone so it comes with everything you’ll need in one device. Also keeping the initial price affordable. The only down side for me was the short 2-3 hour battery life.

I bought this for my 10 year old grandson who really wanted a VR headset. He loves it! The only thing I would say that is possibly negative is that the battery lasts 2.5-3 hours..maybe a positive as the children can't stay on it for hours at a time!
