Not what you try in store

The quest I tried in the store had a completely different face pad made of nice PV leather that is easy to clean, comfortable, and provides more surface to face contact. What you get in the box is a thin facepad that digs into your face. It’s horrible to play this for 30 minutes and your face will have an awful red ring around your eyes. The material isn’t easy to clean and is more akin to the material on the inside of your tennis shoe. It absorbs sweat like a sponge which is pretty gross. If you’re making this purchase based on comfort, then it gets a 1. The portability is a 4, battery life is a 3 (I played beat saber exclusively), the tracking is a 4 (some errors/disconnects when controllers are turned to the side for slicing), sound is a 1 (speakers easily blow at 25% sound), 3 for resolution/FPS.

Won’t charge

Resolution needs improvement

Can be a lot of fun but the resolution and focus are poor even if the headset is fitted to maximize clarity. In general it works gr8 for games and video but needs significant improvement if you want to read text or connect to your desktop.
