    Don't trust technical support!

I bought an Oculus Quest 2 for my daughter, who wanted to play a specific game using Oculus Link to our PC. After purchasing the Oculus, I realized that my GPU wasn't strong enough (my bad). So before purchasing a new PC, solely for this purpose, I specifically asked Oculus technical support whether it was compatible, since the GPU was newer and better than those written on the compatibility list, but not listed explicitly (they just write "or better"). Oculus technical support responded that the GPU was indeed compatible, so I went ahead and bought the computer. After *months* of frustration and log files and debugging and configuration, Oculus technical support tells me, "Sorry, we wish there was more we could do for you, but your GPU is not compatible." That's it! From that point, they ignored me completely! I cannot return the Quest, I cannot return the PC, I get no compensation whatsoever. I paid top dollar for a system based on Oculus technical support advice, which was misleading. Never was an Oculus customer service manager involved, despite repeated requests. They have simply decided to ignore my tickets altogether. This is the first of many negative reviews I will be writing, unless they wake up and decide that this is not how to treat a customer. Very, very disappointing!

    Needs massive software bug fixes

Buy it, bring it home, turn it on ... then wait 48-72 hours for it to update its software?!? Really? I tried everything from resetting to a factory reset. This headset gets stuck downloading the update. Want to talk to customer service because their software is buggy? No 1800 number. NO personal support. Only an email that takes 3-5 days per reply to return. Verdict: wait until the bigs are out before buying. I returned mine and so have thousands of others. Just check the boards and reddit. Not ready for market yet.

Bug in Oculus software makes it USELESS

I spent $400 on the Oculus Quest only to find it is completely useless due to a bug in the software that the manufacturer hasn't properly fixed. "Tracking Lost" is the frequent error that many people are seeing when they try to play a game. If you can't be tracked you cannot play. We have tried all the obvious fixes and I have submitted support requests to Oculus and they go unanswered. Don't say you weren't warned.

    Didn't work

Awesome when it works. After setting it up and making my guardian zone it starting losing the controllers. it would just stop tracking, tried changing batteries, resetting the headset, unpairing and repairing the controllers, and changing room with different lighting. Called customer support and they wanted me to send them back the unit and pay for a repair....yea no took it back for a refund.

    Broke after 24 hours

My son saved his money for 6 months to buy this. He thought it was the greatest game he ever played. He had it for 24 hours and the right controller stopped working. It will not acknowledge that it has power after rebooting, changing batteries multiple times and even factory resetting as suggested by Oculus customer service. Very disappointed.

Great for 2-3 months, Broke, NO SUPPORT ANYWHERE!

BUYER BEWARE! My device broke quickly, Best buy disavows any support after 14 days. In December, I contacted Oculus for RMA, they just run you in circles and now it is June! BEST BUY WILL NOT SUPPORT YOU AT ALL WITH THE MANUFACTURER! This is JUNK!
