If you have the money and the time, go and buy this now. This has been without a question one of the most amazing experiences I had as far as gaming/entertainment is concerned. Words and especially VIDEOS do not do this justice at all. The videos you see in the internet about VR cannot convey what is this about - one can usually get a gist of head tracking but you don't get to understand how 360 degrees of freedom, couple with 3D and the motion controllers will do to your senses. The immersion is TOTAL. This is unlike anything you have seen, heard or thought possible. This is the future of entertainment.
As for the product itself: extremely well thought. Everything has been ingeniously designed, with particular attention to the guardian:. The product is, of course, limited by its mobile processor, but even with this limitation Oculus has delivered a very impressive experience all around. Yes, a few generations from now graphics and other technological advances will make VR even more interesting, but in all honesty you do not have to wait: go and buy this now, you will not regret.

This is an excellent VR headset. It provides a nice, clear picture and has a large suite of highly regarded games for a variety of tastes. Many of the games are ports of older VR titles, but they play well here. The headset is not the most comfortable option (PSVR is much more comfy) but the fidelity of the view in the headset is worth the tradeoff. In addition, it works wirelessly so setup is minimal making it a truly plug and play VR option.

I love that it can be wireless or connect to a PC. PC Link needs some working out of kinks but interested to see what the future holds. Oculus game library is really good. It’s a good price point. The blacks are dark or LCD screen VR. My only major knock is it is super front heavy so you can only play so long. The pressure on the face is noticeable. They are working on the second quest which is supposed to be lighter and hopefully more balanced so hopefully they realized that’s their biggest flaw. Also I wish the foam around the eyes was vented because the screens really can fog up if you get hot playing games like beat saber. For the price and as an entry level VR it’s a great device.

A must buy. The games are cheap. The experience is incredible. Oculus even has a refund policy so you can return most games that you don’t like. I had held off in VR for so long and this system was worth the wait. It’s super easy to use and no cords makes the experience more immersive. The graphics are t as good as on the RIFT but they are still great on most games. Lies Beneath and Arizona Sunshine are must buys!

Love the portability! Battery life not an issue because our family doesn't use this for more than 45 minutes at a time. Great VR experience!
Yes it is a little front heavy, but still comfortable enough. I wear glasses and have had no problems using it with my glasses.
The build quality and amount of available apps is great. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is probably the heaviness of the front of the unit and the light that can still get in from the sides and bottom. Definite recommend for anyone like me who has been waiting since the beginning of VR for it to realize its potential...FB pouring lots of resources into making this a success, so there should be a lot more coming. No Minecraft yet, just FYI!!!!

The Oculus Quest is everything that I have wished virtual reality gaming was for the last five years. In nearly every way, it is a step above its predecessor, the Oculus Rift. Having truly tetherless virtual reality is a game-changer and the quality of the screen and tracking stay incredibly impressive despite having no wires. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to get into VR gaming who may not have a beefy gaming PC.

Really love the fact that is wireless . Graphics are not as great as rift but still good enough . I love that i can connect it if i want to play my rift games . Awesome product seriously . Fast shipping from Best Buy , better than Amazon . I would recommend quest over rift any time , and if you had rift before just get the cable and you can still connect it to pc and play all your rift games .

I had been looking at getting one of these for a while before I picked one up as a birthday gift to myself, and I don’t regret anything. It’s incredibly easy to setup and use! My favorite game on it right now is actually Rec Room. I love that I don’t have a cord that I have to connect to a pc, but I love even more that I have the option to with Oculus Link! Just get one! You won’t regret it either!

I’ve had for around a month. I have tried VR before but not much. Buying this was a great decision! It’s cheaper than many other headsets, but is still great quality, especially for the price! It gets updates sometimes as well! You don’t need a beefy computer either, and it’s completely wireless. If you’re looking for a VR gaming headset, and don’t have a beefy computer, this is great for you!

This is my first VR headset and it doesn’t disappoint! Incredibly easy to set up and use. The only thing I can say against it are a fairly short betters life: 2-3 hours. For one person, this is probably not as big of an issue. However everyone in our house (4 of us) love it and that ends up draining the battery when we’re passing it around and waiting for a turn. I would highly recommend this!

This is the best vr I have ever seen. Very easy to set up and get working in about 30 minutes. However it is expensive but I can’t wait to get another to have the 2 sync with each other. We can’t stop playing with this and even just to watch a movie or tv show is out of this world fabulous!!! Highly recommend this , you to will be amazed it’s so incredible. I think you have to use it to truly appreciate it

Now that Oculus link supports USB 2.0 it's a bit of a no brainer.
Coming fron someone who owns both a Rift S and Quest, I can say the Quest is extremely easier to setup. I will say that the Rift S is more comfortable for longer sessions and the screen on the Rift S is sharper, however, the amount of freedom you have with wireless VR definitely makes it the more value added purchase.

I purchased the original Vive years ago. I used it for a couple of months but got tired of setting it up. I was a little reluctant to purchase the Quest but I am so glad i did. Initial setup is a breeze and now everytime i want to play it, it is ready to go. I wish the battery lasted a little longer but I added an external onto the back strap to extend the battery for 5 more hours. Well worth the purchase.

Pros-Wireless VR with no PC needed is a game changer. Everyone that has tried it is amazed by how fun the apps are. Controllers are solid and tracking is great.
Cons-Not so many apps in the store, library is still growing. Also for some apps you need to create a play space. Very hard to do in apartments but it works. Battery life and weight of headset can be problems but this can be fixed in future iterations.

I have owned this now for 4 month's it is used every day for gamibg between our kids and us playing games. So much more fun than your normal video game systems. My only complaint is battery only last 2hrs but there are mods you buy to prolong life which I'm doing now the othwr mod is its a little frobt heavy but I did buy the vive das and swapped out headstrap best decision I ever did.

I first experienced VR at an escape room with a title made by Ubisoft hooked up to a very powerful PC. My second experience was playing beatsaber on my brother-in-laws PSVR.
The Oculus Quest matches my memory of visual fidelity with that experience and surpasses it with the cabless gameplay. Vader Imortal is such a cool experience, Beat Saber still rules, and both play great on the Quest.
Quest has a ton of really great titles, and many demos/free games/free experiences, so you can keep yourself entertained for a couple weeks while your wallet recovers. It also feels like Quest may be where a lot of devs are focusing on, but I may be misreading the market.
I can't wait to start doing game dev on this puppy. I really need to finish up my other project first, but once I do maybe I'll update this review with ease of dev environment setup for Unity.
The only thing I miss/wish was different is how PSVR can occupy the living room of "I got next" so much better than the Quest can. Playing Beat Saber with my inlaws really felt like passing around the guitar hero guitar while watching your friends play fun songs. The streaming option for folks without a Chromecast aren't great (but that's a LOT to ask of this device that is already doing so much [that's why I'm still giving it 5 stars]).

Most VR headsets require a high end gaming computer with an annoying wire connected to the headset and you have to set up tracking boxes all over the room with their own wires and go through a bunch of configurations to get them working.
The Oculus Quest does away with all of that and just...works. You put it on your face and turn it on. You literally draw a line in your room (with the headset on looking through the cameras - its cool) to tell it where you can safely play without bumping in to stuff, and then its game time. That's it, maybe 30 seconds and you're in. Like how Apple curates their App store to limit the amount of garbage that gets in, Oculus does the same thing. The games on the Quest are great and work great.
I have to say the Oculus Quest is the best technology purchase I have ever made. The Oculus developers keep adding new amazing features like hand tracking and Oculus Link for free where they could have waited for the Quest 2 or whatever and made money off the new amazing features. I'd recommend some games but just click on the Top Sellers when you are in the headset and you can't go wrong with those (Beat Saber, Superhot, etc). If you are thinking of getting into VR and you happen to see the Quest in stock, buy it immediately.

I’ve never experienced VR before the Quest, but I couldn’t imagine using another headset. The freedom w/o wires is incredible and you really feel immersed. The library is getting better and the titles available are awesome already - Beatsaber is a must-have. I had trouble finding one so if you see it available online, just have it delivered or ready for pick up. Cheers!
