So much fun!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth the money and great way to entertain guests who have never tried VR. I bought this for my son (age 13) and it fits him well. It’s pretty comfortable and the adjustable straps are well made. Would definitely recommend to those looking to add to their gaming collection.

Fantastic! Ready to play in seconds!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Any time I am ready to play a game, I can go from the idea of playing to actually being in the game and playing in less than a minute; no setup time at all! The games are high quality. So glad VR is finally here and affordable!

The future in gaming
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All I can say is if you don't have one get one. The oculus is one of the most entertaining experiences you'll receive close to going to David Busters. And paying 15 bucks a pop for a VR experience. No need to pay that. When you can have it at home.

A quality VR experience, with some caveats
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was totally an impulse buy for me. After trying things like google cardboard and Nintendo labo, I was extremely impressed with what the oculus could do. It’s excellent build quality, coupled with interesting experiences makes it a compelling device. However, extended use left me feeling nauseous and dizzy. I understand I’m in the minority with this, so it’s not at all a knock on the device. I am looking forward to more software to arrive or an update prior to giving it another shot!

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son absolutely enjoys playing on the Oculus. It is great that it does not have to be connected to a computer or game system. It is an all in one game system of its own. You can play it anywhere inside the home with worrying about cables attached to hardware.

Out of this world technology, so much fun
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The portable Oculus Quest is whole new level of gaming. Our first VR was a $10 headset that you loaded the cell phone with an app. It was fun and inexpensive but the $399.00 price tag is well worth every penny. The experience is like no other, entertainment value is a 10.

Incredible fun!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first Virtual Reality headset that I've bought, and I am so happy that I've done it. Having no wires attached makes gameplay much more immersive than any video game console can offer. Just make sure that you have enough space in your home to fully experience this headset.

Easy system to use
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the wireless so it’s not so cumbersome but the head gear starts to weigh on you if played too long.

Not perfect, but a great way to get into VR
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Oculus Quest is my first foray into VR, and it’s very impressive. The experience is immersive, the graphics can be stunning, and (for the most part) the controls are intuitive. This isn’t to say that the experience is perfect though. My biggest problem with the Quest has to be the degree of comfort. I find that wearing it for more than half an hour genuinely HURTS. The strain on my forehead and the bridge of my nose can get very bad. This is despite adjusting the straps every which way to try and get it more comfortable. I did find more comfortable ways to reposition the headset, but doing so caused it to go completely out of focus. I think another reviewer hit this issue right on the head (no pun intended) when they said that the problem with the Quest’s fit is that it’s designed for people with a fairly pronounced curvature at the base of their skull. For people with a pronounced curvature, the strap on the back sits beneath the base of their skull and holds the headset in place with the back of the skull nicely balancing the weight between the front and back. For those of us with flatter skull shapes, the only way to get the headset to sit in place is to crank the straps and squeeze the headset right against our faces. In this scenario, a great deal of pressure is being applied at the front of your head, and all of the weight is at the front too. I found that wearing a well padded ski cap and adjusting the straps to fit helped quite a bit (I was able to wear the headset for a full hour with only some slight pain in my forehead). I’m not sure how viable of an option this will be though when the daily temp starts hitting 100+ degrees. The games are a lot of fun, but they’re a little pricey. I understand that designing for VR is a labor intensive process, and the designers deserve to make buckets of money for their efforts. I also acknowledge that we’re probably paying a premium for the amount of freedom of movement that the Quest gives us. That being said, there is VERY little in the way of free content; and most of the paid content is quite pricey. There also isn’t that much of it at launch (though this may change as time goes on). The Quest comes with a spacer for wearing eyeglasses with it, but I’ve opted not to use it after reading about how some reviewers scratched their lenses while trying to use it (I also couldn't get my foam spacer to pop out to install it prior to reading about the issues with scratching). It says right in the instruction manual that it’s designed for glasses that fit a very narrow set of dimensions. Anything larger than the dimensions listed may result in damage to your headset. I can’t see well enough to drive without my glasses, but I can manage well enough; and I opted not to risk it. The lenses also came with a warning about not using any type of cleaning fluid or even water on them. Not sure what I’ll do if they start to get grimy. Maybe a microfiber cleaning cloth? The charging cable that comes with the headset is quite long. You could definitely charge your headset while using it, and you’d only experience a little bit of restriction to your movements. It should also be noted that you can charge this headset from a portable power bank too (side note: I couldn’t get my headset to turn on while charging. I had to turn it on first and THEN plug it in to charge). At the time of this review, Sling TV and Pluto TV are the only live TV apps supported. YouTube and Netflix have apps as well (though not YouTube TV). Hopefully more options will become available as time goes on. The immersion is so good that I actually got motion sick while playing a roller coaster game. While that may sound like a negative, I think that it actually says quite a bit about just how good this headset actually is. I had a little bit of trouble while playing a boxing game. It seems like there is a small deadzone directly in front of your face. When moving my hands to guard against incoming punches, one or both controllers would go a little bonkers when placed directly in front of my face. Setting them slightly off center to either side and holding them further away from my face seemed to fix the issue. The best thing about this headset is its ease of use. You don’t need a high power gaming PC, you don’t need to play with esoteric wired connections, and you don’t need to setup additional hardware for motion tracking. The built in guardian system is extremely intuitive, and the entire setup process is an absolute breeze. All in all, I think this headset is a great way of getting into VR.

VR without wires
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oculus Quest is simply the best stand alone headset out there. Without wires, there is no comparison to this Facebook offering. The controls are slick and the headset is top 3 visually. The best as a standalone non-wired VR set. You will not be disappointment.

Very good for people who want to casual vr
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this thinking it would be a good replacement for my rift cv that I had, but wasn’t to pleased with the feeling. The quest runs great, but just didn’t fit on my face properly, but everyone else who hasn’t played be that tried it loved the mobility and cordless game play. The only downside was the having to re buy most games I had already purchased for rift. And the glass lenses sit right on your nose creating pressure points if you have the lenses close together

Great VR headset
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it functions as advertised. The image is very realistic and performs well on all the games and applications. Son is having a bit of a hard time getting minecraft to work on it but he is working through it to see why it keeps failing. Otherwise it is a great purchase.

Awesome VR!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband and I bought the Oculus Quest about a month ago, and we love it!! The games are super fun, and there are even VR games/experiences you can access through the browser. We absolutely love playing it especially since it’s wireless unlike the the PlayStation VR.
