Design The biggest plus to the Oculus over the rift is it's design. By far the Oculus is the cleaner and sexier device. The built in audio comes with and saves you from having to get a pair of over the ear or in ear headphones with a cord long enough to reach your ears as you walk around. Experience The refresh rate and resolution are great! Way better than the dev kits you've tried them. One thing I would highly recommend is getting the Oculus Touch. For an extra $99 you get the best hand presence in VR right now. You can go one level further to get true room scale presence by getting a third sensor(Second Sensor comes with Hands).

I have psnvr and this seems to me to be clearer, it's a shame they dont have more sit down games. It comes with everything required but the touch controllers add to the experience.

I am new to VR headsets. Bought this in Nov 2016 as a result of a demo in the store. Experience is awesome. The whole family is hooked.

Got this for my 7 year old son. He loves it. Im 32 and i enjoy playing it. My mother who is 68 asks to play it everytime she comes over . Overall great fun for the whole family.

I went into this without ever trying out VR. It is one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had with gaming. Highly recommend!!!!

Virtual reality has taken over my life. I love this product. It is the bomb. When you're looking at the next step and fully getting immersed into something, the oculus rift is it.

The games just keep coming and the rift has already proven to stand the test of time as more and more money is spent investing in VR. Love it and can't wait for the touch controllers.

I was worried about so many things.... will the Rift fit my big head? What about my glasses? Is my office large enough? Will the screen door effect really be that much better than the Gear VR? Simply put... this thing is GREAT!! I took the plunge and it proved all of my worries were for nothing. Fits perfectly, works flawlessly.. really is as good as Oculus fans says it is. I almost bought an HTC Vive.. so glad I didn't and went with the Oculus. I've used a Vive, and for me.. it's Oculus Rift hands down the winner for so many reasons. For reference... my PC is a i7-6800K (6-core) OC'ed 4.3Ghz stable, 32GB of OCed RAM, GTX1080 OCed.

This headset is fantastic. Having owned the HTC vive before this I can say I much prefer the rift. The image quality seems to be better, the headset is lighter, the controllers have much better ergonomics, the software is great and the system doesn't need tons of power plugs like the vive. That being said. I have 2 major complaints: The package should come with 3 sensors. You can't really use full roomscale unless you have 3 and most games require that for full immersion The controllers, while ergonomic and comfortable/light, seem to be flimsy and my triggers are already squeaky and grainy feeling after a few hours of use. All in all the rift exceeded my expectations and is the best bang for your buck in vr.

Great vr experience. Works great with my 1080 gpu. rarely has tracking issues with 2 sensors and resolution is good enough to read text clearly. Works with steam vr as well.

I was lucky to test both VR units (The HTC Vive and Oculus Rift) I would have to say the Oculus Rift has won me over. The touch controls are amazing compared the the wand sticks the Vive has. Also the Screen quality on the Rift is so much better. With the price cut, I had to get. The only thing I would say in my opinion the Vive has over the Rift is the room scaling. Now If you get the Rift and the Touch controls you can get comparable room scaling but you definitely need a third sensor for full scale.

The Oculus Rift is a great platform for gaming. I would've given it 5 stars but it can be uncomfortable to wear, as well as being a bit blurry. I've only played Eve Valkyrie on it and talk about immersion, wow!

I love love love VR !!! It's amazing. The best thing in the world. I got it in a bundle with a pc for 1000! Great deal. Get one !

The oculus Headset itself fit comfortably in addition to the new touch controllers. However after just 10 mins of gameplay the games become severely blurry . I thought at first it was my gpu(GTX980ti) but after careful review it seems it a norm for the oculus and vive to have this "screen door afftect". This made it extremely challenging to enjoy any games over time (only 5 true games out to date.) I would recommend this solely for party gaming with friends as it get boring really quickly and lack of games makes this a wait . I want to see vr keep growing tho 4k amd 8k is the future.

Excellent immersive experience. I think this headset is better than the Vive. I only wish it had come bundled with the touch controllers. I still highly recommend it though.

This is my first time purchasing a VR let alone using one. It was a great experience and gets better every time you play it.

After trying an HTC Vive a few months ago, I was set on buying a VR system. Seeing the Oculus summer sale pushed me towards Oculus, as opposed to the nearly double-the-price Vive. Boy, did I make the right decision. Rift now supports basically everything the Vive does, application-wise. If it doesn't, the community is making drivers for it. Room scale is better through Oculus home (in my opinion) as it doesn't force you to have a minimum size play area. Budget aside, this is the best deal and better hardware available in the VR market. Also, get the touch controllers. Robo Recall is awesome.

VR has been around for year but it finally reached a stage where it's finally affordable and amazing. The Oculus bundle is the best deal on the VR market right now.

The Rift went on sale and I picked it up just because of the amazing deal. I play with it most everyday and it has been one of my best buys! Recommend to everyone.

So glad the price has gone down to purchase, hooked it up and play with the free game included, what can I say so immersive and take playing games to a new level.
