if you have never tried it you don't know what your missing! its fun only down side is want to purchase accessories to expand on it. We have had difficulty with that part.

You can't compare the simple, cheap, smart phone VR system it's not even close. The Oculus - Rift is an unbelievable game system. The game you're in, is the game you are in. You become part of the game, all the way around you 360 degrees. They can come up behind you, things will come at your face. I teamed my Oculus with the Alienware Aurora R7 desktop PC for the power, speed and storage space to maximize the game. There are many free games, the most expensive has been $39.99, less expensive than one night at the movies. The selection of games go from "G" to Adult "R" even though there's not a rating system that I know of.

Comfortable, have nice speakers, good lenses, easy to setup but make sure you have 2 HDMI ports before you buy or you have to buy additional cable to connect your monitor

I'd wait and get the new Vive Pro, or the next Oculus. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing piece of equipment. If you can find a great deal on it, it's still worth picking up, but I'd recommend waiting and getting the latest and greatest.

I currently own the oculus rift as well as the psvr headsets, both are amazing in there own right. However with the oculus rift you are opened to a whole new set of gaming experiences with oculus home and steam. I have ran into no issues with the headset or controllers per se, but customers need to be aware for some games a bigger playing area is recommended. The controls are comfortable and I have had no issue with nausea or dizziness, which may vary player to player. The only con I have which is not much of an inconvenience to me is the gap around the nose that does let in some light, but quickly forgotten when you are immersed in a game!

This was the best gift. The VR is so realistic and adds a whole other dimension to whatever game you're playing or whatever you use your computer for. You have to see and try this!

If you have a powerful computer and you want to play with VR this is a great starting point i had PlayStation VR before this and the rift is much better with more detail

Love the Oculus Rift VR system! Very immersive virtual reality. The setup was not as easy as I would have liked, but I got it done. Another downside is that you must have a powerful enough computer to run it. But totally worth it in my opinion.

We bought the Oculus Rift after trying out our sons and we were blown away at how it takes you into a different world.Plenty of games and free downloads.We love it!!!

This is incredible. You really feel like you are in the game. I actually tried to lean on a counter in a cooking game, without realizing it, I almost fell over lol!

Recommend you try in the store first. It was a unique experience but I can't immerse myself if I see pixels and feel cables attached to me. Hopefully the next generation would have more games and better resolution.

Oculus rift is much more impressive than I thought it would be. If you ever wanted to feel like you’re inside a game, this is easily the best way to get that feeling.

My wife has always wanted a pinball machine but we simply don't have room for one. I bought her the Oculus Rift . Now she plays pinball ( and many other games ) and loves it.

I had bought this Vr, even though my laptop has some minor issues with the Vr, I still loved the experience. I'll be buying another one if I have the proper system.
