I was totally surprised how immersive that VR has become. I played years ago in the bulky gear with the blocky graphics but now it actually feels like you are in another place. It is hard to tell that you are standing in your living room! Just make sure you have a VR ready PC this thing takes a lot of power.

I ordered this to experience the VR world, and I got to. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to do. The games and programs are great, and the hardware was awesome too, but I couldn't see myself using more than 10 programs. I couldn't justify keeping this product, but its a nice cheap entry point if you want to test the waters.

I have the HTC Vive, HTC Vive Pro and the Oculus Rift, so I can really compare them side by side. The Oculus Rift is much cheaper than the Vive Pro and you get what you paid for. It's almost unfair to compare them because they're not in the same league: The Vive/View Pro are high-end VR systems that provide an immersive VR experience. The Oculus Rift is a TOY that never lets you forget what's you're seeing isn't real. The resolution is that of VHS, when compared to the Vive/Vive Pro DVD experience. All the videos are granulated, choppy and the games are slow and low res. If you have glasses, forget about this device. They won't fit in the tiny, uncomfortable headset. I ordered a special insert with prescription lenses, but even that doesn't fit well and makes the headset even more uncomfortable. I'm putting my unit on Craigslist this week and reinstalling my Vive.

First tried the oculus at Best Buy when they had demo stations. Was sold on it at that moment. Only difference when owning one is that arranging the sensors is a pain and some computer compatibility issues with drivers. Besides that I would advice upgrading the face plate to one of the plastic ones that are sold on the oculus store for more comfort and an easier time cleaning.

I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try something new with pc gaming though I recommend having a processor better than an i3 even then the oculus still runs pretty good and I recommend playing vr chat for a bit to get used to movement in vr so new game experiences will be better

I have not one complaint about the oculus rift. It takes a little bit of time to set up all the the sensors and connections, but once you do, oh boy. VR is the future of gaming. There are 4 free games that accompanied this set and all of them are fun to play, especially Dead and Buired.

Got this as a Christmas gift and it’s rona of fun once you get used to it.

After a year of using it. It's great! I don't regret buying this over the overpriced HTC Vive. Sure there are games that I wish the oculus had but overall the Oculus store has enough games both Steam and it's regular store. Constant specials which help me rack up my library real quick!

If your on the edge buy the oculus great support awesome games very user friendly

Oculus Rift is undoubtedly the best gaming platform I've ever used. One of the included games - Robo-Recall is the most fun game I've ever played. Hard to put into words how much better this is than PS4 or X-box one. Of course, you need a gaming computer with an NVidea 1060 or higher graphics processor.

Had to return first One because of bad sensor. Second one worked after extensive troubleshooting during install. Numerous calls to support we’re frustrating, but eventually got the system to work after uninstalling numerous software on programs that came with the brand new computer needed to operate the system. Once It was up and going it worked great. Still Worth the purchase

i bought this because i was bored with normal gaming and wanted to try something new. i played a few hours with it and so did my family they seem to like playing robo recall and beat saber. The only con i have is that my glasses become uncomfortable when i put the headset on.

This is the best way to escape my wife and children. I put this on all the time. I like how I can’t even hear them anymore.

My son got tha HTC VIVE Bundle and I have to say I was impressed. However, the full on experience of the Oculus is so beautiful my wife almost cried. The bundle comes with 2 sensors. IMO you need at least 3, so when you do a 360 you don't encounter any blank spots. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND !!!!!

I've owned all of the Oculus products. This one by far has the best selection of games and educational materials. The only drawback is the wires and the sensors, although the new version doesn't use the external sensors.

this was inconvenient as my first rift was defected. took 3 hours to find out while setting up. took some time researching than called to figure out i needed to return it. So i took it back and got a new one. so far it works great. I do enjoy it. one thing for oculus is having a cover for the interface to keep dust out. wiping it down every time is inconvenient

Got this as a gift and it’s my first venture into VR. The technology works pretty well as long as you have a fast enough PC and graphics card. The cord that runs to the headset didn’t really bother me at all. But getting rid of that cord would be a nice improvement.

Been using my headset for just over a month now, and I have really enjoyed my time with it. The oculus home is a great interface and is easy to use and the amount of free games that have very good quality is amazing to get you started and having a great time.

Very comfortable to wear, I definitely recommend mounting your sensors to two adjacent corners in the room. This allows for 360 degree tracking so you aren’t limited while gaming. I just took the sensors off of the stand and used Command Hooks to hold them in place

Great immersive experience, life life controls, tons of extras etc. My first VR system, and im totally blown away by the life like graphics and all around quality of the product. I would HIGHLY recommend this to others.
