    Having troubles installing, here is the solution

    This is a phenomenal product! I did have a problem installing the software. I got an installation error saying “We are sorry there was an error during installation. Please restart your computer and try again. The solution, TURN OFF DEFENSER COMPLETLY. It will then install. If I were to complain, the picture is dull but that is because I’m spoiled by 2D 4K pictures. This is a phenomenal experience. It works great with X-Plane 11 as well.

    I love the games that come with it but I play Elite Dangerous and once I put on the Oculus I am transported to a new dimension. It has ruined the old flat screen games because now I want them to be 3d too. If you are on the fence buy it you will not be sorry.

    Glitchy and not well made. Very cheap plastic and the lenses are really poor quality optics made from soft cheap plastic. Mine lasted barely two months before it died out on me. Half the games in their store are PC games and aren't made for Oculus so I ended up getting refunded for nearly 1/2 of what I bought.

    Warning to potential buyers! The Oculus Rift has a well known issue that has been plaguing many customers that occurs because of a flimsy concealed ribbon cable which powers the headphones and backside LEDS. Some users have reported it failing within weeks or months while others such as myself well past the warranty period. I would use my Oculus Rift every now and then rarely ever adjusting it if at all. All of a sudden last week the right side headphone stopped working. A day later, the left headphone also stopped working which worried me because that meant the entire connection on the headband must have been affected as well. So I checked via a camera to see if the LEDs at the back of the Rift would be visible and sure enough they stopped working as well. Now I have an Oculus Rift with no audio and limited sensor sensitivity. No way to fix it myself. I was a pre-order Oculus Rift owner and paid the launch price of $599.99 back in 2016 which did not even include a 2nd sensor or the Oculus Touch. I submitted a ticket with support and told them of this issue. Their response was that it is out of warranty and can only sell me a refurbished unit which only includes the headset and costs nearly as much as the complete package. Even worse it only comes with 6 months warranty! As a pioneer customer that believed in this product I feel completely let down by Facebook/Oculus. This is an issue that they have known about and refused to fix it or offer replacements for those affected even beyond the warranty which is at no fault of the customer? I spent $599.99+ on a product that barely lasted me 2 years because it was designed to fail in this manner? I have read reports of users that are outside their 1 year warranty experiencing this exact issue and THEY were given a free headset replacement but they rejected me and told me they could make no exceptions. How is it fair practice to give some customers a free replacement that have expired warranties but not to others? When it works it is amazing but you never know when that right strap will break your audio and there is nothing you can do about it if it occurs after your warranty is up so my advise is to steer clear of this product!     Good luck getting it to work in windows 10 I tried on 2 computers and it failed spent 3 days reading updating uninstalling u tubing still no luck getting rift setup to load will down load from there site but not load up into home computer so I took it but I had no problem returning so much for VR gaming : (

    I love the rift, some wonderful games but the software is bad. Mine quit updating and have spent over a week emailing support back and forth to no avail. Last email from them says basically we are busy be patient... very frustrating

    I bought this system unaware that it was no compatible with my computer....and since i have an all-in-one i can't open it to upgrade my video card. I purchased a game prior to knowing this (i know i know....i acted out of haste) and when i submitted my requested for a refund (everything has to be done through email because THEY DO NOT HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER!) the same day i purchased and returned the Oculus Rift....THEY DENIED MY REQUEST TO GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY FOR A GAME I WILL NEVER USE! This company is a rip-off!!!!

    Sensor stop working

    Sensor not working hardware issues. Sensor stop working after update I have factory reset my computer and reinstalled oculus rift and still have same error that one of my sensors has a hardware issues and has poor tracking cant setup oculus rift.

    The game wouldn’t set up. The sensors can’t pick up the handset. Support from Best Buy and oculus is non-existent. It was a complete waste of money. Try something else.
