It is worthless!! Warning: before purchasing a home monitoring unit make sure the unit is listed to be “Clinically Validated”. From the beginning; we felt there may be a problem as out daily monitoring numbers were all over the chart. We would take 2 to3 readings at each attempt, trying to get numbers that made some kind of sense. Finally, we went to our doctor who compared the accuracy of our home use unit with the facility equipment. Approximately 20 points difference.

Comes up short compared to Omron BP876N, more so to Equate 8000 series. Swapped out cuff to keep BP876N going. Very basic and dated. Looking for accuracy. Cut costs/futures for the sake of profit.

Numbers have not exactly been the same as the more sophisticated one at my Dr. office. However, numbers are consistent. I would recommend taking it with you on a visit and adjusting numbers if needed. Good entry level unit.

The placement of the Velcro on the cuff made it a bit more difficult to correctly wrap around arm.
