This remote replaces my Apple TV remote (which I despise) and also replaces my samsung TV remote. The functionality is terrific. The programming is a bit counter intuitive. I used a youtube demo to actually program it and that did the trick!

A great solution if you're looking for something simple that will control your TV and a Roku. I lost the remote for a smaller TV that isn't hooked up to an antennae, so I didn't need a remote with number buttons. I strictly use this to power on the TV, control volume, and navigate the Roku, and it does that without issue. Supposedly it works with other streaming boxes and some sound bars too, but I haven't used it for that. The light-up ring is nice for night time viewing, which is mostly what this particular TV is being used for. I have recommended this to some friends, with the caveat that it doesn't have the number buttons for navigating through antennae channels quickly if that matters to them.

Bought a TCL Google TV and the thin battery cover broke within a week. Was looking for something about the same size and functionality and this fit the bill. Was easy to program and even picked up a few extra features. Only programmed it to the TV so I can't speak on trying to integrate other devices but enjoy it much better then the manufacturers.

I purchased this remote strictly because I hate my Apple remote. It is hard to hold and even harder to control. This remote promised to pair well with the Apple Tv, and programming this to the Apple was very easy. The remote feels great in the hand, and feels premium. The only problem is that even with programming to the Apple TV, and even reassigning the buttons from inside the Apple TV settings, there are still buttons that you will not be able to use. For example, if I set the Apple TV up to use the right triangles to fast forward, then there is no more physical buttons to assign chapter skip to. The remote does work, but with the included physical buttons, you will still be reaching for the Apple remote, which defeats my use case.

Using this to replace Apple TV remote; with a Samsung TV (2017) & Samsung sound bar. Everything works perfectly (almost always). Compared to the Apple TV, it is simply easier to control everything, plus the size makes it easier to locate the device itself as well as the buttons. The only negative is there is no voice control. With that said, we tried it first with another Samsung TV in the house also with Apple TV, but with a Sono's sound bar that was group with other Sonos and we did not have the same positive results. Would say if you have a basic setup this remote should work great. If you have a home theater setup you might have issues. But, it still might be worth trying to replace an Apple TV remote if you are looking for something just a bit bigger, and easier overall control of both the AppleTV as well as the Television.

Needed a remote to control a TLC Roku tv and older Yamaha receiver. This works the volume for the receiver, but not the power on/off for the receiver, which was the case for all other universal remotes we tried. Kept this remote due to being same setup as the original roku remote. The original roku remote center arrow buttons seem easier to use then the circle button on this, but still probably the best option to control your roku and other devices.

I've had this remote for almost a year now, and it is FANTASTIC!!! I would have one for every other tv in my house with multiple remotes, but unfortunately at the time of me buying it, it did not work with Roku Streaming Sticks, which is what I have on my other two tvs that use multiple remotes. But for our living room tv we were using three remotes because we also have a sound bar in there. This one remote flawlessly took on the job of all three remotes and it has really simplified our lives in the living room! Would highly, highly recommend.

Insanely easy to set up. If you're used to Playstation 2 cheat codes, you're able to set it up. I'm using a Hisense, however. The backlit keys make it easy to use in the dark, alongside the better button placement, and app buttons that make sense for most people. A well made, simple remote! Get the lithium batteries in front of the register. You'll thank yourself later.

Very nice remote for streaming, I use it for my two Apple TVs. . Nice size, not over crowded with buttons and strong IR transmitter. I like that it’s backlight but wish it would light up when lifted instead after pushing a button. Also, a little hard to use because of the rounded shape but you get used to it. Nice for the money.

Pretty difficult to sync to a Roku tv, but it’s a nice remote!

This remote is awesome super easy to setup and you can use it to control every IR device you might have. I use it to control my TCL Roku TV and my Topping desktop amplifier which works great.

Purchased as an AppleTV remote replacement. Works well for the most part, but is missing one important button. No apparent way to remap one of the more useless buttons for this function. Control ring is cool the way it lights up, but extremely uncomfortable to use due to the concave design. Navigation around the screen involving repeatedly pressing it is somewhat torturous, but still better than using the Apple TV remote's trackpad.

This is my second controller and for the money it gets the job done. If you can’t locate a code to program, it also has a learn function that works by facing the original remote (assuming it functions) and press the same button on each and it learns the signal, pretty cool stuff. My only complaint is the round center control is difficult to press compared to factory units. If you have a strong pointer finger you won’t go wrong.

Finally, a remote that will let you go beyond! PLUS ULTRA! Seriously - this was a great product for the price, and really easy to program. I can control the TV and soundbar all at once without having to switch modes.

We used this as an alternative to the Apple TV remote. It works well, but some functions are slightly limited in apps from the OEM remote. We now use it as a media remote for my XBOX Series S. It works well for this. The button layout is meant for a Roku, so I would assume it would be flawless in that application. The remote is a little slick and you have to adjust your grip to reach certain buttons. The backlit keys are a nice touch. Setup is fairly simple. This is a good option for wanting one remote for TV, Soundbar, and Streaming Device. Get it on sale. I’m not sure it is worth full price.

Decent but eats thru batteries fairly quickly. Probably due to the light always coming on, doesn’t bother me because it controls my sound bar and Roku with one remote.

I have a home theater with a 4k projector, Apple TV, and Yamaha received. This remote controls 99% of daily operations. only missing only missing a double click to swipe through open apps for Apple. Controls all 3 devices seamlessly. No need to push which device you’re controlling. Mapped volume to receiver, Apple TV works nicely, and my receiver is mapped to volume. It won’t fully replace your remotes for settings and configurations, but I wanted simple to use and this is it. Very happy
