This is by far the best player out there for the price. I've had nothing but Panasonic's for the last five years before that it was Samsung. The Samsung's all were junk. I tried a Samsung for a little while right before this one and it was all right but nowhere near, did it have as good of a picture and settings for the price.

I purchased this player because it offers 4K and 3D playback capabilities. I have been using it for a few weeks, and I very pleased with its performance playing, 3D, 4K, Dolby Vision, also does a great job upscaling DVD and Blu-ray discs. The WiFi interface looks Archaic

Love this 4k player. The PQ is amazing as well as the SQ. I had a Sony 6700 and picture and sound is much better. Menu has enough settings to be able to tailor the picture quality for your set. I would definitely recommend this player

The best 4K player if you care only about video, connect this to AV receiver for best audio. Otherwise get DP-UB9000 that has best video and audio.

have had this player for about 2 weeks now, and not one complaint. Picture quality is great and the extra features to enhance the picture are great also.

I've been enjoying my Panasonic media player almost daily since I received it. It was easy to set up and synced perfectly with my Panasonic TV. I've enjoyed lots of Netflix and YouTube, as well as both CDs, DVDs, and my Blu-Ray discs. Great picture and easy to use remote.

Loads videos quickly, excellent picture quality and amazing sound.

This is simply the best 4k Blu-ray player you can get for the price. My standard blurays and old DVDs have never looked better. You can even tweak peak brightness in HDR based on your display to avoid clipping highlights.

My only complaint is that it is easy to get confused when downloading the software for alexa feature . Just be careful and be sure you have the correct one. From the play store. Mine works very well with many different brands of devices. Picture and sound of her movies is spectacular.

Best Buy has this on sale and I couldn’t pass up the deal. Easy to use, perfect for my home theater and amazing performance. Fast load times, awesome response time with the remote control, apps easy to use and beautiful picture!

Bought this player as an upgrade from my Samsung UBD-K8500 4k player and it's moderately better. The 4k audio and video are better on the Panasonic, but the upscaling on the Samsung for standard blu rays and even DVD's is a bit better on the Samsung. The remote of the Panasonic isn't anything fancy, but very user friendly. In the end, the Panasonic isn't quite the flagship that I was expecting, but it's still one of the better 4k player's on the market in the U.S..

So nice to have a 4k bluray player that not only provides Dolby Vision content, (Looking at you Xbox one X) But will automatically detect which HDR and sound mode is avalible and selects the best one for your system. (No need to manually select Dolby Vision or Atmos)

This is an incredible 4k Blu-ray player! It automatically identifies the video quality of the disc it's playing and adjusts the format accordingly. It also has a built-in HDR optimizer which makes normal HD content look amazing!

The HDR brightness and picture quality is top notch. As for build quality its ok not like the 9000 model lol. better than my sony x800 m2 player

What a great player! I can say the picture on 4k disc and the upscaling of Blu-ray disc are incredible! Definitely check out some YouTube videos on the better way to adjust settings.

This unit is more expensive than most other 4K DVD players, but I believe it is worth the money because of it's excellent playback capabilities regarding both video and audio output. It has a good feature set, but that is not why I bought it. I purchased this Panasonic unit as a replacement for a functional LG 4K player that would occasionally stall and freeze during movie playback. My assumption was that LG unit could not reliably process the huge amounts of data on a 4K disk. Although I have only had my Panasonic unit for about a month, I have not experienced that same freezing problem since I began using it. So, bottom line, despite its higher price tag, I would recommend this Panasonic unit if it is within your budget.

This replaced my sony x700 which was not bad and actually a good player but it was not on the caliber of this blu-ray player. It automatically reads and go into Dolby vision without me having to manually switch anything over. The hdr optimizer is excellent. I really enjoy this player.
