Excellent picture with high quality sound. Easy setup.

This machine is probably the best blue ray player I have ever purchased.

Best unit you can buy for the money, within reason. Has ALL the features an enthusiast needs. Best of all has AUTO Dolby Vision detection for disc which is so nice (unlike its competitors). HDR Optimizer is a very nice feature to add even better mapping of HDR highlights and shadows. Only issue I could complain about is the popping up of its on screen guide (and not going away easily) if using hdmi controls from the tv's remote. Using the units own remote has no issues with this. Unit does nicely match component width so it is stackable and matches with other equipment. I own 2 of these units and want no others!

I had the Oppo 203 which had one problem after another. The Panasonic DP-UB820 is hands down the best bang for the buck available today!

This is the perfect player. Looks good, and the picture and sound ate breathtaking.

To be frank, I bought an open box item that is in not really good shape cosmetically. The very first think I noticed when plugging it in and turning it on: the noise from the disc tray. Further testing it, there are quite a few things not working as advertised: some 4K MKV & MP4 videos playing with no sound (only tested 4 videos and gave up), serious issue with USB 3 port on back when using HDD: couldn't read music, video files on HDD, front USB was even worse. Pros: this player can read/play 4K discs quite fast. Picture quality is very good. Audio from discs (DTS:X, Atmos, etc.) is reproduced as good as expected (not testing extensively as I'm returning it). Final thoughts: as a high-end player, it is not nearly as good as my Oppo 203. These 2 are about at the same price range (of course when 203 was still available), but Oppo 203 is far more superior than this Panny player.

Originally I bought the LG but it was not good and very basic this players leaps and bounds better overall picture quality is superb and just a way better experience it might be a little expensive but it’s worth the price

This is an excellent player. It is fast loading and produces a great picture on 4k Blu-ray disks, standard Blu-Ray disks, and DVDs as well. It does a great job of upscaling.

This is the best in both video and audio after compared with Yamaha, Panasonic, Samsung... I returned all of them and keep this Sony DB UB820. This is awesome.

This Panasonic player delivers an amazing picture. I have never seen a picture look this realistic. I am just viewing blu-rays. If you make the purchase, you will not be disappointed.

Great picture quality, smooth operation and many great features, big improvement over 10 year old DVD player it replaced!
