Very good player. The pic7and sound is excellent. It plays all my dvds and blu rays.

After two 4K players that did not perform, 1 a Sony and the other a Samsung, the Panasonic has been excellent.

I had a Sony 4k player and it froze all the time. This one plays spectacularly and the color is second to none. Fantastic!

Nice unit, it takes 2nd place to only its bigger brother(which costs at least twice as much), but a bit fragile. Blows away anything from Sony, Samsung or LG currently. My first unit stopped working after around my 45th disc, so I was grateful for the extended warranty. I'm usually reluctant to purchase warranties on electronics, but this unit was over $500.00 with tax included. Knowing that cd and dvd players can just up and quit for no apperant reason, I gambled on a two year "in store" extended warranty...and it paid off. When picking up the new unit, I bumped up the warranty to the max..a 4 year warranty.

This player does a great job of playback and also has great picture quality. Definitely recommended

Coming from an Oppo 203, I was disappointed with the build quality and the lack of flexibility of settings...like picture aspect ratio...something that all player offered routinely several years ago, now seem to have died with the Oppos, and even the Tv's now are giving you less chance to knock out the bars while watching low res material and our 4k ultra blurays...I loved the hdr optimizer feature...that is this units claim to fame...but overall, it was a return for me, and I bought a open box mint 203...for double the price, but I'm happy..

Very fast loading beautiful 4K display with Dolby vision and HDR10. No freezing so far...

I have been looking for a 4K blu ray player to rival the now discontinued Oppo BDP 203 for another room and this player fit the bill. The tone mapping for HDR feature makes the picture pop. The flexible lossless audio options makes this a perfect player even if you have an older audio system that does not internally decode all formats like DTS HD Master Audio. Overall, I am very satisfied with this player.

If your looking for the best 4k player with Dolby Vision then this is the one to get!

I love this 4k player. It's so much better than my Sony 4k player I just got rid of.
