Best 4K player for the price. Previously had a Sony 4K player that was skipping on me so I upgraded to this Panasonic and I have had no issues so far.

So far, so good... No complaints... Very happy with it.

I bought a 4K UHD projector and I wanted to have the best player to get the best picture and audio on the market. I started with a Samsung M8500, which is a good player, then I saw the Sony X700, which is a good player. I wanted more, so I did a lot of research and found the Panasonic DP-UB820. I absolutely love it. I have an 7.2.4 theater. I couldn't wait to test drive a quality movie, so I bought and played The Black Panther. WOW! The color and sound was fantastic. To get the best for your money, you can't get anything better.

Great picture but unfortunately it was not compatible with my sound bar so it had to be returned.

This is a good 4K Blu-ray player. It makes regular DVD movies look better and it upscales Blu-ray movies to 4K it has a clean look. I just wish it was more sturdy and heavier.

Very nice Blu-ray player, versatile, easy to set up for our use. Connected to a Samsung OLED tv and a Denon sound system.

Same features as the more expensive model, but with a less expensive chassis. Absolutely the player that you want to have, because of the proprietary tone-mapping software onboard. Just read pro reviews of this unit, and you will know it's the one to get.

it takes time to learn the remote button layout. i like that it has HDR play back.

This is the definitive 4K blu-ray player for a reason, and it doesn't disappoint. If you can afford it, this is the one to get.

Even though I ended purchasing this through a different source, I have to say that this machine is phenomenal! HDR tone mapping is second to none.

This is an excellent 4K player! Both the video and audio outputs are superb. This is my first Panasonic player after several Sony players. Im impressed.

this is my 5th 4k dvd player and so far it is great. My others sony and LG all had freeze isues and can't have that when watching a movie. Yes its the most expensive but got a good deal with 100 bucks off.

Incredible picture when I hooked it up to our new 85” 8K TV. Easy to use and updates it’s firmware automatically. A bit pricey but the quality of the picture is well worth it.

This player does it all. Dolby Vision and HDR10+. A very nice mid range player that allows you to map out the HDR based off the type of screen you're using. Also allows you to view most Region B locked Blu-ray with the simple Top Menu trick

Bought this unit December 20!9. It was easy to setup and play Blu-ray, 4k and Dolby vision disk flawlessly. Recently it doesn’t always eject disk and jams up. Getting the disk out isn’t terribly difficult but does require a small Phillip screwdriver. This has happened twice in one week. This is the only issue that I’ve experienced with player.
