As the title says this is simply the best 4K player out there for video performance. The only thing you can technically get better is Panasonics own UB9000 which has the same exact video processing but upgraded audio and it costs $1000.00. So for most folks looking to get the best video performance possible this is it! I had the UB900 which is a fantastic 4K player but the UB820 adds the new Video processor and will do Dobly Vision and the new HDR10+ formats. If you have a TV that may not get quite bright enough for true HDR then you definitely need this player as it will map the tone to your TV's capabilities. The sharpness and color reproduction of this player has to be seen to be believed. I have this player connected to a Sony 940E 75 inch TV and it's mind blowing! Even if you already have a 4K player sell it and get this one! It's that good!

This Bd player has outstanding image and sound quality. The best I’ve seen on my Oled. That’s really the most important features of a bd player for me. A couple minor downfalls: very limited add-on apps seem to be available. Specifically, Vudu, Hulu, and movies anywhere are not available. I also get a strange pop up menu that randomly appears and doesn’t go away unless I restart. It seems to be tied to the vierra and only happens when using a third party remote. Doesn’t happen when I use the panny remote.

Cinema quality picture and sound on this machine! The difference watching a movie on this is incredible. There are also so many features and settings

Best 4K UHD blu-ray player currently on the market. With the Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision features, theres nothing this machine can't do.

High quality player, excellent all the way around. Highly recommend this player. Plus the one thing I love is the front display, I like to see how many minutes through a movie I’m in.

The sound quality is very good. The picture quality of my DVDs using this Panasonic device is excellent. Of course, I do have a Roku 2023 TV that I also purchased from Best Buy.

Works very good, plays all formats even foreign coded blu rays. Biggest selling point is the dolby vision which other lower end video players don't have.

if you have an OLED and at least a 5.1 setup, you will not be disappointed. I was on the fence for such a long time, I should have done it sooner. I suggest buying a 4K ultraHD movie and you will be amazed!

If you have a 4K TV, that does HDR, this is a must have player. Previously, I had an Oppo 203, sold it for double, what I paid, bought this player, as a Best Buy open box item, and it came in like brand new. Fantastic picture quality, and HDR adjustable, to your particular TV's HDR ability.

Great quality. Passes Dolby TrueHD Atmos, Dolby Vision and 4:4:4 chroma with no issues to an LG E9 OLED and a Sonos Arc. Would highly recommend - probably the best value of any 4K Blu-ray player because of the great feature set and video processing that competes with the Oppo 203 (which I also have) for way less money.

Tons of picture customisation for calibration. UI could have been better though.

It replaced my oppo 4k UDP-203 I had a chance to compare them side by side and I have to say Panasonic beat the oppo in picture quality but, I like the build quality of the oppo better. If you are thinking about getting this product just buy it! you won't regret it.

Great player! Works as it should. Just started getting into 4k movies and love what I am seeing so far. Also works well with my Harmony One remote. I went for this one over the more expensive Panasonic because it checked ALL the boxes I needed for features. You will not be disappointed investing in this player.

Everything works. Have no complaints. Produces gorgeous 4k hdr video. Smooth video playback. No glitches as of yet. I can't compare to any others as I have not had any other blu ray players but you can't go wrong with this one.

I love the way tvis player plays my 4k movies, they look better then theyve ever looked compared to my other 4k players, i have an oled tv and this player compliments it very well! My only gripe is its apps and apps support this feels like an after thought on this player. Options for app are very, very limited here. But if you want a blu ray player that offers superior picture quality with robust picture and sound options, look no further!

Added this to my home theater and the picture quality and sound has been greatly improved. Upgraded from a Sony s370 and the difference is noticed immediately. A little more than what I wanted to spend on a Blu Ray player but got it on sale and had a few discounts, so it made sense to take the plunge.

I have a huge library of blu rays, so the upscaling was high on my list of priorities. I am not disappointed. Obviously it doesn't match 4k UHD blu ray disks, but it is on par with the compressed 4k streaming content I get from Netflix, Amazon, etc... So far, UHD blu rays are better than I expected. The color is what I noticed more than the detail. Overall very happy with this player and hugely grateful that I can still enjoy my regular blu-rays. Getting the $100 off price was worth waiting for.

My only gripe would be the remote. Wish it was more universal. Besides that, its awesome.

Best 4k player I have ever owned. You don't have to change any settings. It does it automatically for you. Always great deals as well.
