Stunning image and sound quality from this unit!!!

Works and looks great i am having trouble finding money for only ultra 4k Blu-ray to buy .

If want want the best picture possible out of your 4K TV, then this is the player for you.

A great blu-ray player with great unique features. This player will allow you to dial in picture settings specifically to your preference and TV type. Honestly, I returned mine only because I currently own the Oppo bluray player which has features that the Panny doesn't have and a picture that's very close. If I didn't have the Oppo, I would have kept this one in a heartbeat.

I purchased this based on many fgeteat reviews and I certainly agree with them. This is a great 4k player with excellent features.

You can clearly see the difference in processing power and image quality over the less expensive Dolby Vision offerings from Sony, etc.

Great DVD player, only problem is the DVD's. I bought this so I could get more true 4K movies with Dolby Atmos sound, not every movie on Xfinity has those capabilities. With a newer DVD it does great, awesome picture and sound. I get most all my DVD's from DVD.com (Netflix) and sometimes the discs can have some wear and scratches, so those don't always play well, not the DVD players fault but a liability of the format.

This blu-ray player is everything I hoped for. It lives up to the Panasonic reputation. I recommend it to anyone.

Best 4K player available for this price unless you wanna pay 2x the price for the UB9000.

Best 4k PLAYER for the $$$. A must buy for someone with a high end TV.

Panasonic dp-ub820 is a must have for a home Dolby Cinema. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, at your home!

This is a great 4k player. Better than OPPO 203. Multiple audio and video settings.

Paired this 4k player to my new LG OLED, and I've never watched a clearer movie in my life. Definitely worth the buy!!!

So far very happy with the purchase. Got it at $100 off so great value for a top notch product.

It was/is pricy but you get what you pay for. Picture and audio better than my past 4k players.

Good picture with 4k tv ..........................

I am very pleased with this player. It replaced a Sony UBP-X700 that claimed to handle Dolby Vision but was not compatible with my TCL series 6 TV in DV mode. The Panasonic provides a better picture in HDR 10 also. I do like the larger remote; it is easier to hold in my hand. I like having an alphanumeric display on the unit itself, in addition to the on screen display. It is expensive, but now I am viewing both HDR10 and DV movies, and feel more satisfied with my TV's performance too.

Both the video and audio looked and sounded very good. The home screen wasn't very good.

I bought this player after reading a lot of positive reviews and a few bad ones. I really regret buying it. When it works at all, it will freeze randomly and has to be unplugged and re-plugged before anything will happen. Then, it will just hang, scrolling "Please wait". I leave the room and come back after a while and find it still scrolling. It won't move on from please wait without unplugging again. This will happen multiple times before finally finishing the boot up. Then I'll restart the movie and it plays for a while before freezing again. It's in an open space, away from any heat source, so it can't be overheating. A check of the setup menu shows that the firmware is current. I've had to box it up and ship the unit to Panasonic at my own expense. The email from panasonic's service dept says they don't repair these units. They'll just swap it for a refurbished one. Best buy's policy is that they don't take returns after 15 days.
