If you are serious about your movie watching experience this is the player to get. I am coming from a sony player that was good at first but keep having issues with movies freezing as well as other issues.

Excellent picture for both 4K and 1080P content. Easy setup. I only wish the remote was backlit.

This is my first 4k player, I own the original Oppo bdp-83, still works great and was sad Oppo left the market this year before I was able to buy a 4K player. Have debated for a while which to get but all the reviews of the processor in this player made my decision. The price isnt as big of a deal to me since its same price i paid 9 years ago for my Oppo.

Easy to use and plays both Dolby Vision and HDR-10+. Quality product!

for the price there's no comparison. The UB820-K will take full advantage of whatever media you throw at it. I was hesitant at first, only having an Xbox to watch my 4K media on. But this absolutely blew me away.

At time of purchase this is one of the highest quality Blu-ray players available. I love everything about it except the remote and Alexa integration.

The people here sending in raving reviews about this unit must live in an alternate Universe. I have an old Oppo Blu Ray player that just blows you away with clarity and sound and also plays multichannel SACD's. But lacks 4k and streaming Tech. Looked at these raving reviews and thought Maybe I had found something that could hold a candle to my old Oppo and play 4k content and stream as well. Received the unit today and stuck in a 4k HD Blu Ray disc and got message "Unplayable Format" Just for kicks stuck in a regular Blu Ray disc (Guardians of the Universe) and it sucked in comparison to my old Oppo. Not even close! Picture and Sound wasn't even in the same league. Spent 1.5 Hours trying to speak to someone in Geek Squad which btw paid extra for, to see if I was possibly doing something wrong. Spoke with 7 different people who had No idea of what I was talking about. What a Joke...a bad one. One positive thing and could be wrong is that playing Netflix the picture clarity looked possibly as if it could be a step up but no surround sound in the (2) movies I randomly chose.

Love this thing. My blu rays and 4k's look awesome on this thing.

This DVD player shows a beautiful picture. I am very pleased with it.

This 4K payer rocks. I traded a Sony one for this one. Way better choice.
