Quality is unsurpassed. Cannot comment on 4K disc playback because my television does not have HDR; but just for blu-rays, the cost was worth it.

Allows for netflix and Amazon streaming too. Get adjust ability for HDR and projector setup. I think this player should be required item for every HDR projector installation. Very well done Panasonic!!

The best 4k player you can get

4k blu ray player

It makes regular DVD movies look better and it upscales Blu-ray movies to 4K it has a clean look. I just wish it was more sturdy and heavier.

Bad player.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One of the worst players ever. Audio drop outs, random distorted colors, major disc freezing. Cannot watch a movie, period unless it is a regurlar blu ray. The ub820 is incapable of reading discs with as much data as a 4k disc has. Paid $550 for this player. Extremely dissappointed. Panasonic will not return emails.

Excellent 4K Player

The Panasonic performs perfectly playing all types of disks (SD, BD & 4K) as well as streaming content. It costs a bit more than most players but you get what you pay for!
