I love this blu-ray player to access the mass amount of media stored in ultra HD on the discs.

If are still using physical media(Disc's) to watch movies at home it is highly recommended. It does not support SACD format if you are interested in music.

This is a great player that does many things well but the I feel you get a better bang for your buck by going with the Panasonic ub420 if you dont mind losing Dolby Vision.

Excellent Blu-Ray player that plays a multitude of formats

1. Menu system adds unnecessary clicks, i.e. no direct way to start disc, instead must fist click on "videos" and then choose disc from there. 2. Does not remember last-played spot. Launches top menu any time the disc is restarted. 3. Very limited settings. i.e. no way to turn off auto-sleep. SLOW

Freezes up...all the time! Very frustrated thus far. I bought this due to previously owning a Sony 4k player that would "occasionally" freeze up, and cause frustrations, especially considering I live in a rural area with a large blu ra/4k physical library...and 2 young children who would watch as well. I actually liked the picture quality of the Sony 4k player fine, and it matched well with my Sony OLED. After much research however, I figured I would buy a "step up" 4k player. I have been extremely disappointed. I am not sure if I received a lemon from Panasonic, but the picture quality to me is very similar, but it freezes up WAY more often. This thing is the most sensitive blu ray/4k player I have ever owned...and that is going back many years, pre streaming! I am probably going to have to try my luck with Panasonic warranty department, because there is no way this should be acceptable for a standalone 4k player that stand behind.

I feel as if this player is overpriced, but good luck getting a similar player for less. I wanted something to send Dolby Atmos to my Marantz 8012, and I got it. By the way, I can actually tell a difference in the superior video quality, too. I'm satisfied, but I just wish it had been cheaper.

The player can play almost all 4k UHD discs without hiccups. The price is on the expensive side.

Interface is a bit clunky but audio and video performance is fantastic.

This Panasonic UHD Blu-ray player performs beautifully, with Netflix and Amazon streaming, and especially with 4K discs. I specifically bought this model because of its HDR Optimization feature, the only player to have this capability. My LG 4K tv was displaying HDR images too dark, a problem that many tvs have with HDR. The HDR Optimizer let’s me adjust the brightness higher to correct the darkness problem, and now the 4H HDR images are bright and crystal clear! This player is simply awesome!!!

This is one of the best 4K players ever. One of the the most trusted companies to purchase from.

I love this player. It upscales my DVD's and has a very interesting geflinker.

The HDR optimizer alone makes this one my first "budget" choice
