If I had not purchased the remote for only $10 I would feel more disappointed in the lack of this feature.

Like so many other people who wrote a review on this remote (on multiple websites), I have also experienced a defective device that eventually failed to work. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen immediately, but it did happen after the warranty ran out. I feel like I tried everything and looked all over the Internet for a solution. Too many people have wrote about the same issue to be a coincidence. Avoid this remote.

Example if you are watching movie and need to stop it to continue at another time, when you turn it on again the movie doesn't start where you left off. So you have to fast forward to find you last place.
