Buyer beware - don’t waste your money on this remote! Like so many other people who wrote a review on this remote (on multiple websites), I have also experienced a defective device that eventually failed to work. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen immediately, but it did happen after the warranty ran out. I feel like I tried everything and looked all over the Internet for a solution. Too many people have wrote about the same issue to be a coincidence. Avoid this remote.

Remote works great would have given 5 stars is buttons were lighted

I had the PS3 remote with my previous system and bought this with the PS4 Pro, it is smaller and has easier to read labeling with less buttons. Overall a good addition for movie lovers.

Finally after three years they release the sony authorized media remote.

I love the way the device feel and the way it perform it makes everything go smooth and I also like the price I would recommend this product to anyone

The controller is a better option even with its confusing dvd functions.

Took a few attempts to set up but works well PlayStation vue

makes watching a movie easier don't like the placement of the butoons

To be honest..if your a person whom only plays games, don't waste your money!! I use my remote to watch tv, movies, Netflix etc. l would hate to have to use a controller for those things.

Slow response, doesn't work with hulu, better off using the controller.

great but have to figure it out how it works. It is a good remote

well as a ps4 remote it is far superior to the insignia remote. my problem come with button responsiveness, and placement. it is next to impossible to change the volume while holding the button down. while the return button to close out any open menus id in a very difficult to reach place.

Took a good while but the end result is worth it. Makes watching bluray movies and streaming services so much better. Using the controller is just a pain. Controls my tv well also.

I'm not sold on this remote. I want to use it exclusively for the PS4, and every time I use it, I need to push the PS4 button. If I let it set on the table while watching a movie, it loses the PS4. So it won't work until I push the PS4 button. Really inconvenient when you need to hit pause.

Good enough to watch movies with but not as good as PS3 remote.

It works for what I want it to do which is play and watch movies without the ps4 controller, but there are just to many useless buttons on the remote. I haven't been able to get it to pair with my TV as well.

Button layout is a little awkward, it takes some getting used to.

I mainly bought this as I use PS Vue on my PS4 and was tired of constantly recharging my controllers all day just to watch tv. The new controller works but it is kind of clunky and takes some getting use to. I expected more out of the controller but ultimately it does what it is suppose to.
