Button layout is a little awkward, it takes some getting used to.

I mainly bought this as I use PS Vue on my PS4 and was tired of constantly recharging my controllers all day just to watch tv. The new controller works but it is kind of clunky and takes some getting use to. I expected more out of the controller but ultimately it does what it is suppose to.

Controller is very lightweight even with the batteries installed. Controller is very well constructed and very well detailed. Controller is a must for your media player

it works great. No more problems picking up the controller and hitting the wrong button. It even lights up so you can see it when watching a movie with light down low.

Great alternative for those mainly using PS4 for media instead of gaming. Pop in a couple of batteries and you're immediately all set to use.

This Remote enhanced the value of the PS4 Pro, Love it! Got rid of the blu ray player when it died and made more room for more toys! Makes watching my movies simple and neat!

I seem to always forget these when I go on a trip to the coast and bring the PS4. I think this is my 3rd one and none of them have ever given me any issues

I HATE that my PS4 controller doesn't go to sleep for HOURS, but my PS4 remote goes into idle in like 20 minutes. It's SO annoying. Plus, the buttons are hard to find in the dark. You should probably just buy a Harmony Remote.

I could never get a universal remote to work with my tv. There was always something that wouldn't work, but this works great and I get to use it with my PS4 which is a plus.

The remote itself is fine, but it tends to disconnect from the PS4 for no reason. Getting it to reconnect is a hassle. Might just be me, but you're better off getting a normal cloud remote.

My PS3 remote always interacted with the PS3 on start up. This remote however, requires re-pairing most of the time by first using the PS4 included game controller, un-attaching this remote and then re-pairing. It is a pain.

Nice controller, it works everything, the only down side is the controller turns its self off automatically in 30 minutes so you have to sync them before you can use the controller again. The ps3 controller is better

some functions are weird on the ps4. not sure whats going on

I don't like using the standard controller when using my PS4 for multimedia purposes, so this is a great option to use instead.

Wish the newer version was out when I bought this. Clunky and busy and not user friendly at all. Thought it could be a nice universal remote and I was SO wrong. Continually have to switch modes/inputs to function.

Remote is well-made, sleek, and looks good. So much better than using the controller for watching blurays or streaming video services. I would recommend this for these reasons.

This unit requires you to press TV to gain control of the tv and PS to change the PlayStation. So you will pick a movie and then need to press tv to change the volume and then press PS to pause the movie, and back and forth you'll go. Major bummer with all the extra steps.
