I don't understand why a remote which should only use power when you press a button needs to auto shut down

PDP fails to deliver

I had to use YouTube to find out how to do it. Does not correctly pair with my 2015 Samsung LED TV J6500 series. Will pair but not turn on.

The PS3 version was much better. Also there are no keys for L1, R1, L2 & R2 which makes it useless for Amazon Prime for some things.
