Was nice until toddler got ahold of it. Wish it was backlit.

Works well but when inactive you need to go through the hold activating sequence which is a bit slow.

Batteries would only last 2 weeks. 8 months later it's completely stopped working. It did work OK for the apps I used, but the auto shutoff got annoying while watching long episodes of shows. My PS3 remote is still working after 8 years. Not sure what happened with PS4 peripherals. It's junk now.

This is my second purchase of this exact same remote. The first one maybe lasted a month. So far so good.

Basic ps4 operation works fine but learning, other item function not so good. Works good for ps4 only use

not over excited with the control remote and just keep it cuz i thought i will use it in the future

I've had the PS3 remote for years and it's great. This PS4 one has less functions, functions far worse in general, and the manual has a misprint (lie) about what it can actually do. But it does have its use for the minimal functionality it provides. I'd only recommend it because it's the only "official" remote they bothered with this time. But it's third party.

Great remote, but doesnt work on the web browser which is what I got it for.

I wish I could give it zero stars! The remote's Bluetooth does not stay connected all the time.

Why couldn't Sony just clone the PS3 remote? That controller was flawless. This one may look similar, but it has poor response time and is missing the equivalent trigger buttons. It's better than nothing, but a shame that it took so long to get a remote, and this is what we were given.

Hate that I have to keep pressing tv or PS4 for the controls. The old PS3 remote was easier to use.

Does not stay active for very long, have to reset after 30min.

I purchased for ease of use with blu rays and ps vue functionality. after about a month of the remote working half the time and 3 sets of batteries, the remote completely stopped working. it is now being used as a paperweight on my desk.

I had to buy a second remote because the first one stopped working after it went out of warranty

I personally don't use this as an universal remote but it work well as a stand alone for my PS4.

This is a very busy remote. You have to spend a lot of time to figure it out.

Hard to program, but figured it out! Tho i hadnt used it since the day i purchased it!! Lol

If you run your video through a receiver like I do you'd be better off getting a different remote. The only device this will control the volume for is the TV itself, not a receiver or soundbar as I've tried both. Other than that the remote works as an OK universal remote with the ability to control the PS4. Not great or even good, just OK.

Great remote for younger people. The labels seemed small to me.
