This makes using my PS4 while streaming Movies, Netflix, Hulu, etc. so much easier. I no longer have to make sure my PS4 Controller is near me or charged so that I can pause, play, stop or whatever. This remote is small, compact and super convenient wherever I'm sitting.

THIS IS NOT A SONY PRODUCT! While it is licensed, it's pretty clear why Sony didn't want their name on this product. Controller won't even stay synced with the ps4. Literally 10 mins after you set it down it turns off even after changing the settings on the console. Looking past the cheap feel, it's unreasonably long and just feels awkward in your hand. The ps3 controller was waay better than this garbage.

Love that it's universal with other electronics and is better than using the remote for watching blu-ray or streaming

Playstation remotes are the best, I really like all of the features that it contains and if you are used to the PS3 version then this one will fit the bill. It contains everything that you need to control your PS4 incl. color-coded buttons for ease of use.

I was hoping using this remote was similar as the PS3 remote, but this is missing a lot of the buttons needed to be a "universal" remote. Tivo buttons for instance. Also, you constantly have to select the PS4 input to get it to control the ps4, it basiaclly times out in 15min so you have to reconnect all the time.

Remote is a good value but don't think you'll get Harmony type programability for this cheap. Pros: It's much better than using a DualShock 4 controller for watching movies, Netflix, etc. No more skipping around if you bump the controller. Cons: Buttons are tiny. The programming is limited. I could get my TV but not my tuner working so I still have to use another remote for that.

I was generally surprised when I found this remote to actually be able to control my TV also. Has option to also control a cable/sat box and amp. Also has learning ability for extra compatibility. The ability to control 4 items with one remote = sweet!

This is a good remote control to have if you hate leaving your controller on & hitting a button on accident.

This is a good remote for PS4 users. I grabbed it when it was $9.99. totally worth it at this price.

remote doesn't do punch through volume but company sending replacment

Glad to have something other than the PS4 controller to control blu-ray function, but if only it was backlit or had glow in the dark buttons. In a fully lit room should work fine, but fumbling around in a darkened home theater is a pain. Also, the remote going to sleep is annoying. If you get on sale go for it, full price no way.

I bought this for my Ps4, half the time I use the console to watch movies and Tv shows. I like the use of a remote over a controller and, as a bonus it work with my tv without me having to even program it.

Just for the fact that I can navigate most functions without having to discharge the battery of my Dualshock while not actually playing a game. Netflix, YouTube, HBO Go, Vudu and others are all supported streaming services as well as navigating the PS Store and the hub menus. Wish they would work on support for Hulu as I use that quite often as well but, all in all, still worth the purchase.

My wife didn't want to use the game controller to control the tv. When she found out there was a remote that she could use we had to get it. My wife loves this remote and is super happy we got it.

Good remote for watching movies on ps4! Does more than control your ps4.

Multimedia remote for ps3 is better in my opinion but this one still does the job as well. Just having a hard time pairing it to my tv maybe because its a bit old otherwise a good product.

At first I thought it would be impossible to sync to my PS4, but it turned out to be great. After 4 days it stopped working. It turns out it burned through my batteries. Not sure if I got a bad batch of batteries or a faulty controller, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Anyway, be advised.

slim long remote. Easy to control and use. Battery life is good also.

Was on sale for $10 for I figured I would give it a shot. Doesn't work that well. Synced it to my PS4 via bluetooth, only to have it unlink multiple times. After 30 minutes, it stayed linked and was finally able to use it. Works but probably not worth more than $10 in my opinion.
