Terrible compared to the remote that came with the PS3. The fact that I have to power it on every time I want to use it, is a major inconvenience. Functionality is also sub-par compared to the PS3 remote. New consoles should be a step forward in technology, not a step back. You really dropped the ball on this one Sony.

Setup for the PS4 was a breeze and it works as advertised. Unfortunately I had very simple expectations for the rest of the remote that needed to be meet. 1.) Power on all my devices (Meet that) 2.) Basic functionality for my DVR (Completely missed the mark, wild button mappings) - Fail 3.) Be able to select/change inputs on my receiver - Fail Returning this tomorrow.

It works but u will have to press TV button if u want to raise the volume every time

Works for most of the basic stuff, but some of the apps don't support it.

I already have a remote for the PS3. I don't understand why that one will not work and I had to purchase this one to watch DVDs on the PS4? Good product with nice features. The same as the PS3 remote. Sony makes you buy this if you want a remote to watch DVDs even if you already have a remote for the PS3.

If your using PS4 to the fullest, you need this remote as your last accessory to control Blu-Ray movies and any streaming service. Also acts as a PS4 controller.

If you need a remote for ps4 this is about your only option.

Makes a great Universal Remote, if only they had a white one.

I set it up and it worked great on the first day, but coming home the next day, the remote no longer functioned. I changed batteries, deleted the profile on the PS4, and tried to do the set-up once more and it no longer turns on. I'm returning this for a replacement and hoping that works.

This is cheap, does not work well compared to PS3 remote. I tried to get the TV part of it to work and never worked. It's smaller and just cheap. Buttons feel cheap compared to the PS3 earlier versions of this remote. The PS3 remotes automatically work and they worked with my TV. This thing has a lag and finally turns on. I got it on sale at $25 plus tax. I'm returned it. It would have to be $10 or less for me to want to keep it. I would wait until a better remote is released or this one is improved. I am just going to use my PS3 for watching movies and PS4 for games. The PS4 game remote's batteries drain very fast when watching movies. It's a shame that these accessory makers cheap out and produce garbage like this for an expensive price.

I picked up one of these thinking it had a separate dongle that took IR and made it BT to control the PS4... it doesn't. My use was to control my PS4 with my remote that controls everything else already. I ended up selling mine to a friend that likes it well enough though.

Everything about it seem to work fine. Except for a couple of things. You have to tell what mode your in. Also it will not work with the Vudu app.

Works wonderfully with my PS4, and my audio reciever. Can't use it for the projector though, but you can't have everything.

I know what we all want. A remote to control all media devices in the house. I have a Sony Z9D, Sony receiver, Sony UHD Blu-Ray Player and PS4-Pro. Probably the worst remote ever. I hate to push AMP to controll the volume. You cannot turn your PS 4 on with it. Blu-Ray player cannot be controlled. TV cannot be controlled good enough. It's all from SONY, where is Sony's quality control prior to certifying??? Worst device ever!!!

Complete garbage. Who needs a remote that turns itself off forcing you to mash buttons for 10 to 15 seconds when you want to change the channel? Missing many of the key buttons from the standard game controller that are needed for Playstation Vue. I bought this thinking that it would be the perfect accessory for Playstation Vue, but it is less capable than the standard controller. Save your money and skip this product.

Love it!!! Better than using the joystick. Quality product have one for the Ps3 as well.

The only issue I had with this remote was controlling the volume on my sound bar. I had to use the signal learning buttons in order to control sound.

Got this expecting similar performance to the PS3 remote, disappointed in that the controls were not as intuitive as was for the PS3. Gave the remote away.

It's a decent media controller. It feels a little cheaper than the official Sony PS3 controller. It has everything you need to control your system.

Bought this product but haven't used it yet...assuming it'll work fine
