This really is the next evolution in Persona games. If you've enjoyed 3 or 4 and been waiting forever for the next installment it's here and it's everything you wanted. They've sharpened the gameplay and dungeons to a really fascinating point and the life sim management is as fun as ever.

The preorder steelbook casing is a nice touch and worth the preorder. The game itself is a significant upgrade from Persona 4. This game jumped a generation and Atlus has made use of that to exemplify the games graphics and art design. Highly recommended for all RPG and story enthusiasts.

I played a little bit of Persona 4 Golden on the Vita, but only had a few hours into it. This was my first real extended experience with the series and I love it so far. I don't have a lot of time with RPG's but I love what I've played at this point. Really interesting and dark storyline

Even with the three-year delay, Persona 5 is one of the best jRPGs that has ever been released. Be warned, though: it is a traditional, turn-based jRPG with a slow start - similar to Persona 4 - and likely 80-100 hours. Fantastic the entire time, but be prepared for a massive time sink.

Wow, not sure what has happened these past few months, but Sony has been killing it with the exclusives! I've never played a Persona game before, and I must say I am HOOKED. This game has wayyy more cohesion, depth, style and polish than Final Fantasy 15! Yep, said it. Get it!

Persona 5 got delayed a few times which bothered me but Atlus did give us something that was worth the wait. No day one patch was a plus. The game feels great, fans of the Persona series won't be disappointed. I'm not done with the game yet but I'm have a blast every minute!

and as long as they release... i will continue to support. i'm tired of shooters. however it's not a game for everyone. a lot of people hate turn based battle systems.

if anyone likes jrpg's, rpg's in general, or just fascinated by japanese culture or want to learn more about it, play this game. If you "don't like turn based games blah blah" dw about that, play it for the story, social interaction, and presentation. You won't regret it.

I am 20 hours in at the moment and have not stopped loving every minute of this game. I have loved other persona-esque titals such as shin Megami games... but this was my first persona. I love the son aspect as well as the combat. It has been an awesome experience so far.

If you're a fan of the Persona series or turn based games, this is a must grab! The art style is unique and the soundtrack is often very catchy. Beneath the surface, the game touches base on the different facets of society. Overally highly recommend getting this game!

Never played Persona series before, heard a lot of good things about it, after 20 hours in now, I am regret I should know this series earlier, the best and stylish JRPG I've ever played. No more words, just get it and dive in. And the steelbook art style is way cool.

~11 hours in and I'm hooked. I really appreciate both the social and the dungeon-crawling gameplay. If you're not into the social piece, though, reconsider--there's a lot of it. All in all, really rewarding JRPG with enthralling characters and rewarding gameplay.

Persona 5 is my first foray into the Shin Megami Tensei world, and it proved to be both intriguing in its story, and challenging in its depth. This game is a dungeon crawler with social development aspects that makes it stand out amongst other dungeon crawlers.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Simply one of the greatest game releases this generation. This steelbook edition is a nice package for the launch customers. The game itself is hard to put down. Must own for the Persona fan (or JRPG fan in general!)

Once you get theough the introduction and the introductory parts, the game comes together nicely. There is way too much dialogue upfront in an attempt to get III attached to the main character and friends but the length of it is too gruesome to be effective.

I can't recommend this game enough! It's a great JRPG, and a great game in general. It's a long game (100+ hrs) and offers a new game+. I'm a newcomer to the series so I can recommend this for other newcomers as well, if this type of game is your thing.

This game is pretty amazing. The style, the way it plays, it is a quality game all around and it's fun and interesting. This was one of several games that really helped start 2017 off with a real bang. Anyone who enjoys JRPGs should give this a whirl.

This is my first Persona game I've played and I'm truly enjoying the gameplay and beautiful comic-like graphics! This game is estimated just shy of 100 hours to complete, and is definitely worth a purchase at full price. Recommend picking this one up!

Even though this game was never guaranteed to be released, i knew it would be fantastic when it finally was. It keeps things new in yet familiar to give the Persona series its own unique take on the jrpg franchise gamers have come to know and love.
