It's compact style is perfect for less space on my t.v stand.The picture and sound quality is excellent. I would recommend this item too anyone like myself who still use dvd players.The Phillips brand is great.

Inexpensive but a few issues

JUNK

Prior to that perfectly playable DVDs were stopping and skipping scenes.My temper got the best of me and now it's where it belongs --in a landfill. I purchased a Sony and so far no problems. The Sony was about 50 bucks the Philips was less.If your going to buy any electronics don't go cheap. Though the Sony is'nt expensive it is a better product so far.

Great blue-ray for a beginner

Seems to work as it should
