It would have been perfect if it worked
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My last DVD player was a Philips and it worked wonderfully for over 10 years, so I was feeling pretty loyal to the brand. I brought this one home and after a week it had trouble recognizing disks. I discovered if I unplugged for about 10 seconds it would work. Then three weeks out even that didn't work. I tried two different disks. However, the next day it did work. But by this point I was annoyed and took it back to Best Buy and told them it was garbage and did not want another Philips but a Samsung. They were very helpful and gave me a store credit.

no good if it doesn't play

Inserted dvd the tray was off track. Never had the chance to play a dvd. I returned it 2 hours early and bought a Sonyfor $5 more.

Never worked
