I would recommend anything from Philips Hue to someone who is fairly good with technology. Troubleshooting problems may be a nightmare for someone who doesn’t know much about apps and smartphone controls. Otherwise, great lights.

The Philips Hue system is a little pricey, compared to other smart lighting systems. But you can't beat the quality. They're reliable and easy to connect.

I bought the two down lights to round out a hub set my son gave me at Christmas for our winter home. We used these in flood light locations over a kitchen counter to use as a night light. The set up was easy and I would always purchase the down/flood lights instead of the bulbs.

These lights were purchased to work with my Alexa, I love being able to come homes and the lights are on in my house..

Works great. Same hue though a slightly different shape to the bulb. Doesn't stand out when installed though.

Lights are VERY bright - even when you dim it down to 1%. They work great but would have bought the color variant if I'd have known limited dimming.

Love the smart lights. Never have to worry about leaving lights on again. Or coming home to a dark house. I have them inside and outside the house. They are a bit too expensive though.

Slowly replacing all lights with Hue lights so that we can control all lighting thru Alexa. Requires some setup, but well with the cost and effort!
