I have officially smartified my home and this was a great addition! Works great with Alexa! Easy to connect and also to control with the Alexa app. No hub required. Now looking forward to maybe buying the colorful ones

I got these bulbs for a very basic purpose -- as I age in place, and given being disabled, it is helpful to convert as much as I can to more of automation or app driven uses. The Hue Bulbs, while a bit on the costly side, are on sale now and I've successfully used them now for a couple of years (some of the older ones) to control sections of my home (which is what is needed when you have mobility impairments). I also can turn these on as I approach my home after any appointments or trips - it is a good thing to have light ready and waiting for me after say, a long day doing a grocery run.

Really surprised by the ease of use. Paired with Alexa and you can adjust the "Ambiance" to your personal needs . States it has a life time of approx 22.8 years. I'll let you know how it goes.

This is the best thing I ever bought. It’s perfect when you are laying down relaxing and too lazy to get up. All you have to do is get your phone to turn off the lights. I recommend this light.

Perfect in every way. The Phillips Hue Bridge enhances.

Set up a routine to turn this bulb, used as a porch light, on at sunset, ramp up in brightness as it got darker and turn off at a certain hour. Works flawlessly and does not have to be adjusted for time changes.

Even though it's limited to strictly a white bulb color, the device is convenient and very simple to install and control. I use my Echo Dot and name the device to fit the location. Cost effective and reliable to date.
