For some reason, when I tried the bluetooth pairing with my ceiling fan it didn't work. But when I did the pairing with a single bulb lamp, it worked perfectly fine. I will be purchasing the multi-bulb pack with the bridge to reach my goal of making my home a smart home.

This bulb is in an outside light fixture but protected. We have another one of these bulbs in our porch light since summer of 2018. Worked thru the whole winter. Its exposed to the outside temps but protected from precipitation. On really frigid days, I just left it on.

My only negative is I didn’t know I had to purchase how many light bulbs my item takes. My fan requires three (3) lights bulbs and I initially only purchased one (1) bulb and it would only turn off the light bulb I replaced it with.

I have been very happy with these products historically. I like to set schedules and it’s really convenient to be able to set my lights remotely. The lighting is not too harsh and you can dim without the need of a dimming switch.

Good product to use for security and ease. Easy to install and set up.

Is bulb of light, is white only, no color, work with Alexa, what more you need know?

These bulbs play a key role in my smart home setup. I've particularly been impressed with how well they function with HomeKit, which was a prime concern of mine during my search for smart bulbs. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase!

I wish Philips hue made a bulb in the 5000-5500 range that just dimmed for this price. I bought this so use as a programable porch light. I just hate that it's so warm in hue. I prefer cooler whiter light. For the price this will do. Because of the price I don't care if this got damaged by heat or cold,i would care about a white ambience getting damaged though

Our experience with Philips smart bulbs has always been good. The Philips bulbs always operate correctly. We have had problems with other manufacturers smart light bulbs. As a result, we will only purchase Philips smart bulbs from now on.

Works well enough, but 20% of the time it will disconnect from my hub.

So Far so good. The only issues is if you put multiple bulbs in one dock..example3 bulbs in a fan lamp and you tell alexa to turn off...sometimes it only turns off one or two lights. No biggie. Just repeat command and you're good.

My only downside is price. But they are amazing and I love the ease of use.

I've placed this bulb outdoors in a driveway/street post lamp...distance from the Hue Hub and the house is approximately 200ft, and the signal reaches so no issues with the typical Hue functionality. Another great Hue product.
