Great product and easy to install. The app can sync easily to multiple lights through the devices.

I'm the one customer that you really don't want to sell anythig to, Murphy's Law is always in effect whatever could go wrong will go wrong. The more technical the higher the probability. But with this product right out the box it hooked right to my smartphone and I added my first bulb, months later I'm up to 6 bulbs and it's a pleasure to have total control over them set the mood in the house with just one touch or even have it activate when I walk in the room. There's Hope for me yet love this bridge

You need this if you want to control your Philips hue lights with your IPhone. Without this device you can only control your lights with Bluetooth and that sucks. Using Bluetooth takes a while to connect and you can’t turn on your lights if you’re not home. With this Hue Bridge my wife is able to turn on the lights before she gets home so it’s not so dark.

Very easy to install and there are no issues at all with connectivity to internet and smart lights.

The Hue bridge is required of use of the Hue devices and I have enjoyed my Hue lightstrip for the last month. through the bridge you can control the lights through tablet or smartphone to a section of colors. Hue labs is also available where formulas can be added to cycle through colors, set timers or turn on when entering a room. I enjoy a formula that mimics candle flicker.

The Phillips hue bridge is easy to set up and operate. It sits out of the way and has never had an connection issues.

For the pst 3 years I’ve had smart lights in my house connected to the hue bridge that comes installed in my Amazon echo. I have never had ANY issues with it. But whenever my power would go out, all of the smart lights would turn on. That can be a bit alarming and startling while in a deep sleep at 3am. So i couldn’t figure it out, but alas! The hue bridge has allowed me to stop that problem. The hue bridge app has setting to control the lights more specifically. So now no more waking up in the middle of the night to a set of bright lights in my eyes.

Made my new hue lights work. Must have in order to set up and use the hue lights. Add the sync box to really complete the setup and have the lights synced with your entertainment. Perfect for concerts!

I upgraded from the older base and found this to be much faster, it's smaller, and works with Apples Home app. Love it.

pricey but works well, good range, super easy setup. I suggest purchasing a kit if you plan to use multiple bulbs because the hue basically ends up being free price-wise

I bought the this hub because I already had a lightstrip and a few bulbs. So far, Hue has been a great experience. Many people complain that it's expensive, but you are really buying into an eco system and not just buying a piece of equipment. For instance, you can go to the Hue Labs website and download a lot of great formulas that make the system even better. It's very easy to setup and keep running. Highly recommended.

Brought this when I brought a Hue Go lamp (NOTE: If you're a first time Philips Light buyer, and you want to access all your products features, you'll need this product.) Not going to lie, the material felt slightly cheap out of the box, but this isn't meant to be played with, its meant to sit by your router. And for that purpose, it does it well. Only peeve is that it's so pricy. IMO, it should be cheaper since you're already dropping tons of money on their products. Nevertheless, good purchase.

What can I say? It does what It's supposed to do. Using the Philips Hue app on my iPhone, I'm able to set all kinds of different light themes and adjust lights as a group or individually. Works flawlessly. I only have 3 smart bulbs, but I'm sure this would play well with light strips or any other Philips Hue device. Only reason I give it 4 stars is I'm unsure about the quality. I had a previous Hue Bridge that came with my light kit (Bridge and 3 bulbs), and it died fairly quickly. However that was likely a fluke, so I wouldn't say it's worthy of judging this product entirely.

Small enough to hide somewhere and makes the Hue bulbs work to their full potential.

Philips hue products always was my favorite , since I have been working this company lighting department long time ago, I bought hue when it just launched because that I knew it would be a great idea , I have it all over my house now, so this item that I bought was let my hue much easier to control and it really did

Replaces my 1st generation bridge which was round. The 2nd generation hue bridge is required in order to use Apple's HomeKit - most specifically for my purposes to give Siri commands to turn off or turn on, brighten the lights, etc etc. But it seems going forward this bridge may be needed for future and other current home enabled integration with the Phillips lights - more than just Siri. What was disappointing is that Philipps was offering an upgrade discount, but every time I tried to apply there was a website issue, so the promotion finished and I ended up having to pay full price for the 2nd Gen bridge.
