Good functionality. Just wish the Ethernet cable wasn’t the only way to connect to the internet

I have Phillips and Wemo home automation. Wemo is much better at connecting to the network, scheduling, and ease of use. 2 of my 3 Phillips Hues lightbulbs did not get paired with the Hues bridge immediately. I had to attempt pairing several times. I’ll stick with Wemo and leave Phillips on the shelf.

I personally love hue stuff but all this extra stuff to make it work is a little to much.

When this bridge works, there isn't any issues but only if you can get it to work. Sometimes it will disconnect from your wifi and you will need to manually enter in the IP address to get it back. Even if you reset your modem/router, it will not fix it sometimes which causes you to waste time googling on how to fix it online...

Bought this to upgrade a kit to 2.0, which it did it's job, but I had problems with the bulbs. Bulbs worked for two weeks, then started having issues with one bulb. Got it working, then it failed a week later and couldn't get it added again...going through multiple methods and talking to support. For $60 bulb, I expect NO problems! I'll give it a few years before I invest in something like this again.

Had to purchase Hie bridge 2nd generation because the 1st won't would not update. Ok product.

I never did use the unit because I didn't use the light strip because I the reasons I posted about the light strip.

had to return one becuase it was faulty and didnt actually work. second one works better but only half the time.

I don’t like how you NEED to buy this after already buying the expensive LED lights

this should have wifi built in and the overall software use with Alexan is confusing and has bugs

Works great, I'm just trying to figure out how to access through the cable box when I'm not on the home network.
