Happy with how easy this was to set up. It's a little pricey but works with all of our Philips Hue lights!

If you're connecting this to a samsung t v make sure you add the bridge in your smart things. The t v will done recognize it via the app when you purchase it on the tv. It takes a little patience and trial and error otherwise once it's all linked up that works great.

When you buy the Hue Portable Light, the instructions are horrible in the box. It will tell you that you need a bridge; this bridge. That is only if you have the Echo dot, not the Echo plus. You do not need this bridge if you use the Echo plus. Just connect using your Alexa app and add it to your Smart Home section. Take the serial number off the sticker on the back of the Hue portable light to help find the bulb. I think it is silly that the bridge has to actually be plugged in to the back of the router anyways for you to use it. It works, but much easier if you have the Echo plus and no bridge needed.

This was a purchase coupled with the Hue light A19 Color bulb. It was easy to set up and additional hue products install with just one push of a button. Draw back, not cheap by any means.

This item worked exactly as it stated it would it was pretty much plug n’ play I would certainly recommend that any one who has Hue Lights and needs or wants to seperate them into groups or rooms get this unit it also allows you to turn your lights on & off if your internet goes out.

If you're like me you're here because your 1st gen hub threatened you about not working with Alexa. I needed this to continue the ease of use of controlling my Philips Hue lights with my voice. The swap out was very easy and gives you step by step instructions through the Hue app. You'll need to run discovery through Alexa afterwards though so she can find the new unit and you may possibly need to delete some duplicates through the Alexa app that she thinks she found.

To get the lights to actually change colors and have use of the dimmer effect, you need to purchase THIS Hue Bridge Product and download the Hue App to your phone. The connection is easy and hassle-free. It comes with the wire to connect directly to your Wireless Router. Very simple. You only need to purchase this product once. You can buy as many lights as you like and they will connect to this bridge device. I am happy about this purchase especially after seeing so many bootleg version on IG that I didn’t trust to purchase. It helps having a trusted name like Phillips!

Basically it is essential for Philips smart home products to connect to through wifi. Can buy alone or bundled with another Philips smart products. I have had no issues with it connecting to wifi or my smart product. Simple one button touch and there connected. Great product so far.

A must buy if you have multiple Hue accessories. Expensive once you buy the lights, bridge, sync box etc but worth it once you display them

The Hue Bridge is easy to install and set up and provides excellent functionality and a wide range of options. It is a must have for anyone with Hue lights and devices.

Received this a little more than a week ago, did a bunch of research about smart lighting. Philips definitely has a solid product. Took a few minutes to set this up, a bit longer than I expected (or maybe my router was working slowly, not sure). Followed the simple steps to download the app on my android phone, pushing on the big round button when prompted. This bridge is needed if you want to be able to control the actual smart bulbs, that was not very clear when I first began looking into the whole smart lighting. Otherwise there is not much to this, other than plugging it in with the included wires into AC power and into your wireless router.

The hub is the perfect size and blends right in with the other internet products. Since upgrading our modem and router haven’t had any connection issues with the hub either.

Excellent product! Works perfectly, and is very useful, especially if you're going to be using multiple Philips - Hue lighting products.

I haven't been able to hook mine up yet because of no router space. But I got this as a gift and it is working properly for them so that's good.

Used the new hub to create a second entertainment area with Gradient strips. Works like it should!
